The Obama wave, which has been building for months, reached the proportions of a tidal wave after Iowa. It is now about to submerge, sink, and drown the Clinton campaign, and with it, the Clinton era will come, finally, to a close.

And to watch the Clintons rage and desperation grow in the last days of this campaign will not be pretty. To paraphrase Bill Clinton, "It depends on what the definition of 'pretty' is."
As for me--pass the popcorn.

the clinton era (such as it is) is not going anywhere.
Obama, you're a stooge; a puppet of your sponsors.

This is all blue smoke and mirrors. They’re just setting the stage for Hillary’s big comeback, phony tears and all.

Never underestimate Hillary. She could be the Freddy Kruger of American politics.

The media built up and supported the Klintoons. Now they have pulled the rug out at least for now. We will know a lot more after Feb 5.

Let's wait til she's carried out in a strait-jacket to be really sure she's gone. As long as Hillary is around, she will scratch and claw her way to the top.

End of an Era (The Clinton Era)
Finally! (Hopefully).
Now, perhaps, we can concentrate all our energies, efforts, funds, towards defeating someone who, for all intents and purposes, should not be too difficult to defeat. How is it that in this great country of ours that so many people have come to believe that Obama is the best America has to offer? That's a nobody, an empty suit with no experience in running anything. And yet, he is applying for the most powerful position the world has ever known? And people are actually taking him seriously?

It will end Hillary’s run for the WH, but BillyJ will still continue his speechify-in.
If Hillary does not win, rumors, even before she announced, were that she would settle for challenging Reid for Senate Leader.
She will be around a long while. And BillyJ will continue earning $millions for his speeches.

We'll see. If she's lost the press she's lost her most important ally. But it's a long, long way until November.
I don't dismiss Obama lightly, but if Hil blows the incredible advantages she's enjoyed since she was crowned elected junior Senator from New York it will have to constitute one of the biggest political chokes since Dewey/Truman.
To: tennmountainman
The problem the Dems have is that Obama will never, ever get elected. It just ain't gonna happen.

I live in hope, as well, but that Clinton phoenix has risen fron the ashes to many times for me to be over- confident too soon.
As for Obama, sure he’s an empty suit, but sadly, we ‘pubs have a couple of those running, as well. I’m not going to start anything by stating which ones I’m referring to; you all have your own opinions.

I'm not going to to dispute that we do have some people on the GOP side whose experience level leaves a lot to be desired, but even so, the experience level from anyone on our side outshines whatever experience Obama has.

Good read. I only disagree with one part at the end.
She will not stay in the Senate. The raison d'etre for her Senate run was to create a jump board to the White House. There's not enough power in a single senate seat. And she'll be even less powerful after her party has rejected her. All those plants at the DNC. All those suck up senators. All those loyal staffers measuring drapes for their WH offices. All the media inside tracks.
All gone.
She won't stay. They'll concoct some kind of emergency, probably a Bill health crisis. She'll resign. She will then be granted a big bucks position with some non-profit. He'll just be a Manhattan hound dog.

On another note,LSU just scored.

Might not be pretty, but it's gonna be fun! My only worry is that Obama will not be able to finish her off, and if he doesn't, she'll be the comeback kid. Until Obama or somebody drives that sharp silver stake through her heart, she may be down, but she's not out. (Unfortunately)
