Must have been all those ballots that were brought in at the last minute. Pre selected for sure.

I’m not sure I would call it a stunning upset. She was ahead all along except for the last two days of polling. More than likely the polling was just faulty. Anyway I’m glad she won. Obama is worse tan Hillary.

She was leading by, what, 15 per cent last week before Iowa caucused? She ends up winning by 5 per cent or whatever it was. And somehow this is a stunning upset?

I told you!!!! Once those ballots started disappearing, Hillary would win. How long before the vote tampering allegations begin?

Maybe Obama can hire his Kenyan cousin to burn houses and machete children in NH in protest, like he did in his home country.

Do not underestimate the Clintoons. For all the idiots who would actually vote for this old hag and her partner in crime because they think they’ll get Bill again to the way in which they could use fraud. We are looking at a very serious general election. I was hoping Obama would win, while we know he is WRONG on everything like Hillary, at least he isn’t corrupt like those ba***rds are. Just sick. The end of times must be near.

It’s interesting to me that she has a 4 point lead over Obama, yet they waited to call it till just minutes ago. McCain only has a 5 pt lead over Romney yet it was reported as in the bag right away. Just trying to add to her mystique i guess, but it is crappy journalism.

I think we will find that this is a prime example of machine politics at it’s worst/best. The Clinton Machine and the Democrat establishment likely brought in the big guns and manufactured this win. I doubt fraud was involved but given the turnout everyone was talking about, the machinery got to work and got all hands on deck to squash this newcomer and let him know who is in charge.

Boy did they get it wrong. Will Obama supporters aledge fraud?

Zogby

Pollster John Zogby: “Obama’s margin over Clinton has opened up. He leads among all groups except women and voters over 65. In a development that could prove significant in later closed-primary states, Obama has pulled ahead among Democrats 40% to 34% -- as he did in Iowa in the closing hours.” Democrats – NH Tracking 1/5-1/7 Clinton 29% Obama 42% Edwards 17% Richardson 5% Kucinich 2% Undecided 5% http://www.zogby.com/news/ReadNews.dbm?ID=1417

Rassmussen

Final New Hampshire Dem Primary Poll: Obama 37% Clinton 30% The final Rasmussen Reports telephone survey in New Hampshire’s Democratic Presidential Primary shows Barack Obama leading Hillary Clinton 37% to 30%. http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_20082/2008_presidential_election/new_hampshire/election_2008_new_hampshire_democratic_primary Gallup

By this past weekend, after the Iowa caucuses, Obama had moved slightly ahead of Clinton among registered voters, but jumped more significantly ahead among likely voters. Obama now has a substantial 13-point, 41% to 28% lead over Clinton among likely voters, with Sen. John Edwards following in third place, with 19% of the vote. My bet is that some Independent voters, thinking that Obama was now a sure win, decided to try to control the outcome of the Republican race and voted for McCain instead.

I think that made some of the difference for Hillary, not just the emotional moments, and made McCain’s win bigger.

Intellectually and politically John McCain and Hillary Clinton are opposed sides of the same coin. You get some variation on specific issues like Abortion but over all they share the same philosophical outlook. If anything, McCain has shown himself even more unprincipled then Hillary. Hillary at least will stick to her guns on this or that issue, McCain is total politician who would sell his mother to win a vote.

You run McCain, color this life long Conservative activist out no matter who the Dems run. I will bite my tongue and say nothing against McCain, but I sure as heck will not be campaigning for McCain.

Just further evidence that voters (particularly Democrat) are ignorant sheep.... Hillary, desperate and anticipating getting her tail handed to her in NH, pulls out the emotion card - and it works. She sheds a crocodile tear in a moment of feigned emotion the day before the primary...and gets a payoff...

And McLame....don’t get me started...I guess his extra time there instead of wasting time in Iowa paid off...
