Why was Agee in Cuba?
Good riddance to bad rubbish.
His US passport was revoked, the Brits expelled him years ago, and even the Euro-weenies wouldn’t let him stay. Cuba was one of his few options. He lived in an apartment in Havana, writing articles occasionally for the government-run newspaper and running a travel web site.
All right, for Agee I'll make an exception.
Reminds me of the Tuskeegee, AL Veterans Hospital. I made one trip there in 1976 to transfer a patient on a ventilator.

We’ve now learned that peptic ulcer disease is not caused by stress but by a bacterial infection that can be cured with $25 worth of antibiotics. If he had ulcers, all they needed to do was give the inexpensive medicine to cure him.
Wonder why they cut on him instead of giving him antibiotics?

Philip Agee, a former CIA agent who betrayed the identities of scores of agency operatives in a 1975 book, recently died in disgrace in Cuba. Despite his own actions exposing intelligence assests, Agee criticized the Bush administration for the “outing” of CIA officer Valerie Plame. Ironically, the 1982 Intelligence Identities Protection Act that Democrats and the Old Media claim was violated in the Valerie Plame Affair (it wasn’t) by the release of Plame’s name was passed into law as the result of Agee’s treachery.
