MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Barack Obama is being endorsed by fellow Sen. John Kerry, the Democrats' 2004 presidential nominee who lost to George W. Bush that year and gave up his own plans for a 2008 run a year ago.[snip]
Besides any potential help for Obama, Thursday's endorsement was a slap at Edwards, who was Kerry's running mate in the last election. The two had their differences during the campaign over strategy and spending. In post-mortem interviews, Edwards said he would have been more aggressive in challenging the unsubstantiated allegations of the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, the Vietnam War veterans who questioned Kerry's military record.

After all the "substantiation" the MSM still can't get the story straight. Maybe we should send them a copy of "To Set The Record Straight"

"In post-mortem interviews, Edwards said he would have been more aggressive in challenging the unsubstantiated allegations of the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, the Vietnam War veterans who questioned Kerry's military record."
Edwards can't challenge the allegations because he's lacking in knowledge, Kerry can't because he knows they're true.

Agreed. But the dumba$$ reporter could at least put Edward’s words in quotes instead of regurgitating the ignorance of his bias.

Don’t waste the postage. Denial is terminal and no topical cure exists. A life-style change is needed.
Also, you'd have to go all the way back and undo the decades of public school revisionism on American history, politics, etc. just to rehabilitate them enough for the real cure. Cold, hard, immutable, verifiable facts in mega doses administered without restraint. They could still be Liberals, but they’d be better for the cure.

Edwards said he would have been more aggressive in challenging the unsubstantiated allegations of the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth... How conveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeenient; Forrest Dump here says that he would have been more aggressive, which is just another method of drive-by sniping by a smarmy lawyer.
What's stopping you from being more aggressive NOW, Mr. Two-Americas?

Having read the book, I doubt sending copies to the MSM would do any good. They have based their careers on “Speaking ‘Truth’ to Power”, (I hate that phrase) having gotten their start in this while impressionable college students. Little did they realize that they they were pawns of the communist propaganda machine of which Kerry was a member. The “Truth” was a lie. To face up to their continued gullibility is probably more than they can take. Unfortunately, there actions seem to have set the template of what one does while in college: protest.

Forrest Dump here says that he would have been more aggressiveAccording to the book, the Kerry campaign was more than aggressive in trying to deny the SwiftVets their free speech rights.
Kerry should be tried for treason.

But the “Swifties” still won! History will NEVER record a President Kerry. Thank you John O’Neill and company! The United States will forever be in your debt.

Glen Johnson, Associated Press writer, should ask John Edwards what, exactly, are the Swiftie claims able to be disproved. The upside? $1 million from T. Boone Pickens.
After all, the challenge wasn’t to Kerry exclusively.

I phoned the AP and asked how I could get ahold of Mr. Johnson...the gal said I couldn’t...that he was out covering the campaigns. I told her that he could get all the “substantiation” he needed straight from Kerry’s military records...if Kerry would ever release them.

Kerry suggested that people who don’t go to school “get stuck in Iraq.” Aides said Kerry meant to jab at Bush and say “get us stuck in Iraq,”
And he still trying to spin this statement as a joke when everyone knows exactly what he thinking.
