“If you are truly disappointed in Fred, especially after tonight’s “poor” performance, and if you really, really wanted him to be our choice, my advice to you is to spend the next 10 months getting it out of your system. Just some alone time, for you to heal.”

I actually should, but it would be irressponsible to leave you all without any adult supervision.

Hello,

OK.

You like him, but you hate him. Got it.

You know, for someone who claims to love Fred’s positions, you have chosen the night he broke out, hit a home run...to slam him.

A word of advice: your taunting opinions look foolish and adolescent enough on their own without trying to make them appear like someone else's.

However, you do prove the truth of one old adage, and that is: "First impressions are usually correct."

I remember the Huckster jumping on Fred in a previous debate pretty well. Didn’t help that it was before Fred was officially in the race and on stage to defend himself.

Looks like we’ve come full circle to me.

“Yes, some say that Huck is Pro-Life, but ? why then ? are most Pro-life ORGS endorsing Fred ?”

Because NRTL is NOT primarily evangelical, and they jumped the gun thinking Thompson would do better. They just keep throwing good money after bad.

Try laying off the crack pipe when you watch the debates.

And the intelligent insights by the Thompson lovers just keep on coming!

You've all picked the right candidate, all right. You're all just as mean-spirited and cranky as he was tonight. Thanks for helping me make my mind up.

IIRC there were 28 Luntz people
3 came in for Fred at the start
all BUT about 6 swung to Fred by the end

SC was Freds to lose when he announced, so
I think he really had most of them at one
time, but they were just waiting to see the
fire ... tonight they did ... so they switched
back on board

Yes!!! We got the Full Fred tonight. He was on a roll. We have to keep our voices out there and not let the fire be put out by a media who does not want to see a Fredvolution. What we saw tonight is how hungry conservatives are for conservative ideas and conservatives that speak without shame.

Let us forever bury the compassionate conservative. The hybrid zombie has nearly killed our party as Clinton nearly killed his. It is time to be able to be proud to be a Republican again. It said something in 2004 when the most inspiring candidate to speak at our convention was Zell Miller. Those who call Fred cranky should watch Reagan speak. They sound like the same ilk who desparaged Reagan when he said without shame “Tear down this wall!”.

Real leaders don’t need permission to speak their mind and don’t speak as to mute the truth so much with sweetness of their words as if they are lulling to sleep babes.
They raise their voice from the mountain top and yell out for even God to hear and do not sup with demons so to curry favor with devils.

Ha ha. See, Sola Veritas, you got it! If you're going to give someone a little dig in the ribs, at least make it clever and genuinely funny.

'Night all.

" Further, this "blame America" thing made him come across like someone who has been taking lessons from the Clinton spin machine...where the truth is subordinated to winning at all costs."

-----

You're right. I just checked and "arrogant bunker mentality" means "courageous patriotic posture" in Swahili.

And "close down Guantanamo" means "hang terrorists from the streetlights" in Esparanto.

Huckabee was just showing off his language skills and they twisted his words.

He should have just stuck with saying "Step right up and get your free college tuition!" in Spanish.

Hank

McCain is FDT’s friend. Don’t count on seeing them attack each other any time soon.

McCain is FDT's friend under normal circumstances in normal times, but they're playing in the political major leagues now and it's every man for himself. Friendship drops way down on the list of important things during a major league campaign, and friends are free to verbally tear each other apart on the stump and then resume the friendly relationship once the game is over.

Once this current game is over and a winner has been selected, you may be surprised by how congenial the relationships between all the candidates may be.

Fred doesn’t make “bogus allegations”. The sites which find errors in debates have never once found an error in FRed’s information. They thought they did once, and realized THEY were wrong.
