I always thought that was the reason the Hubble was sabotaged in the first place, because some ancient conspiracy knew that pointing that thing out there we would eventually find a giant eye looking back.
That was my own personal conspiracy theory. I never really felt it was worth it to fabricate evidence for.
Exactly....man, are we gonna be surprised when we eventually find out we are sitting in a Petri Dish on a lab bench and that thing we call the sun is just a growlight and that thing we call the moon is just a nightlite.....
