Anti-Posada Demonstration in Miami called off after Confrontation ( "Go to Hell Code Pink!" )

MIAMI (AP) - Protesters demanding the arrest of Luis Posada Carriles called off a planned demonstration Little Havana after they were confronted by supporters of the anti-Castro Cuban militant.

Women from an anti-war group known as Codepink had planned to discuss with reporters their campaign against Posada -- who is wanted by the Cuban and Venezuelan government on charges that he plotted the deadly 1976 bombing of a Cuban jetliner while in Caracas.

About 15 Codepink activists were met in front of a Little Havana restaurant yesterday by some 200 supporters of Posada. Several of the Posada supporters charged at the activists' truck.

The truck drove away and the meeting had to take place at a separate location.

Posada is free after a judge dismissed the government's charges that he lied to investigators in a bid to become a naturalized US citizen. He still faces a deportation order.

I wish you freepers would have seen the look on the faces of the Code Pink dolts who showed up at Versailles on 8 St. The mob of Americans (of Cuban Decent) headed for that truck! I'm talking about young and old people. They were screaming "Communista!" "Go to hell!" “Go live with Fidel and Chavez you piece of sh*t!” They started to shake the truck and the driver got the hell out. The cops were there and simply stood around laughing at these idiots. What the hell were they thinking by going to the Versailles restaurant on 8th which is basically a hub for the Cuban-American community. We are VERY ant-communist and very anti-Code-Pinko down here! I love it when things like this happen! Reminds me of the TX neighborhood folks who ran the black guys, led by Quanell X, out of the neighborhood after Joe Horn shot and killed 2 thieves.

Old Quanell and his minions were all dressed up in black suits and ties and were there to hold a protest. They ended up back in their cars and leaving the scene very quickly.

a photo thread on Commie Pink's "leaders" that's LOL funny,
another report that links to two other bloggers' reports,
and Babalu's newest report which informs all of his readers that blogger Claudia4Libertad has learned that Code Pink is having a 9am press conference at the Miami FBI office (16320 Northwest 2nd Avenue, North Miami Beach), and following that event, the Pinkos are heading over to their 12 noon Rally at the Office of Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen 8660 West Flagler Street, Suite 131, in case any Miami area Freepers and lurkers want to "greet" them.

Does anybody know how to get in touch with the Gentlelady from Florida and give her a heads-up about the commies coming to her office tomorrow? Oh, I almost forgot... Babalu has also posted Medea's telephone number (from her press release), in case anyone wants to chat with her.

LOL! I just found two video news reports from CBS4.com (a Miami CBS station, I presume) about yesterday's "clash." The Code Pinkos were whining to the Miami PD about not being protected, and telling the Miami cops what the law is regarding protests and signs. It's a real laugh riot.

Go to this link, and then on the right you will see a drop down box which reads "top stories." Click on it and scroll down until you see the subject "Cuba" and click on that; which will bring up CBS4 stories related to Cuba. The top stories in both columns, as I write this, are reports on Code Pink's botched protest. Both are great. And Bill, you will see some familiar faces of traitors we have done battle with in DC... Medea, Desiree, Tighe, and that other broad who whined about us not having any "people of color" in our group.

Oh, I also found a Flickr album that belongs to one of the pro-Castro Code Pinkos. You will notice that the only photos they have posted are ones they took when they were safely parked in front of the Miami Police Department. Not one photo from the "clash". I guess they couldn't take any photos while they were running away. hahhahahahaha !!
