In Indiana, where the law is being challenged, the cost to obtain a BMV issued ID is exactly: (drum roll) Nothing! They are free!

Hmm, good point. I hadn’t even gone there in my head with regard to what might happen if the sigs didn’t match. You’re probably absolutely right in that they probably couldn’t do anything about it. I mean, after all, we ARE talking about NJ here. :)

I was actually fortunate enough to live in one of North Central Jersey’s few conservative enclaves (North Plainfield, Summit County) where we had a Republican rep (Mike Ferguson) and managed to hang onto the majority during the 2000 general.

WE;ll shortly be moving to Waretown and I have no clue what the ideology is. Not that it matters because i am unashamedly a proud Republican and one who will, at the drop of a hat (or phrase) speak my mind. This usually is about why Democrats are the unmitigated disaster to this nation I believe them to be. My wife runs to the other side of the room when I get started because she is willing to do almost anything to avoid an argument (except of course with me) and I hear about it afterwards. Doesn’t matter though, I’ll continue to speak my mind and piss liberals off doing so. It’s all great recreation for me.

Actually—good for you. Waretown is in Ocean County, which is mostly a Republican county, one of the few in NJ. If you look at the 2004 electoral map of counties, you’ll see what I mean.

Waretown is an old town, close to the Barnegat Bay—you are in for a real treat. To have the bay and the ocean close by and only a half hour to Atlantic City and a little more than an hour to Cape May, you’ll enjoy life there. Except for the taxes and the corrupt, moronic Dem state government. On Route 9 is a large new shopping center, with a Shop Rite(YAYYYY!!) and a new Sonic just opened on Route 9 in Waretown.

Lived in Ocean County for over 20 years—now am happy to be in Southern Delaware, with low property taxes and no sales tax.

Taxes are high but relative to northern NJ were I used to live they are much lower. I really haven’t seen much of the area but what I have seen is very nice. We will be about 4-5 miles from Rt 9 so shopping should be convenient for my wife.

I was looking into moving to DE because of the outrageous RE taxes (low) but my wife wanted to be closer to her family.

What’s a Sonic?

Sonic is a drive-in hamburger joint. You pull up to a station and order food and someone brings it out to your car. Sonic is more common in the South—I believe the one just opened in Waretoen is the first one in NJ.

Good luck on your relocation.

Cynthia is a leftist liberal as usual in her views.

Do people need ID to collect welfare, to obtain a driver’s license, to cash a check, to get on a airplane, to get use a credit card? YES YES & YES!

So what is the big deal in requiring ID for voting?

I guess it might stop illegals from voting and might become harder to vote multiple times, and dead people may not be able to vote. This will affect Chicago voting big time. I should know, I lived there for 30 years.

In Indiana, ... to obtain a BMV issued ID is ... free!

But how many free IDs can one person get? There are some Democrat voters that require multiple IDs for their Dead relatives!!!

A Drive In? Wow, just like the ones from the 50’s. WE used to hang out there all the time way back when.

Thanks for the good luck wish.
