Well, Ahmadinejad must be emulating Kim Jong-il. Put huge portion of national wealth into nuke program, enjoying his power play.
If he keeps up, "March of Suffering" would not be far away.

Many were put out of work by his sudden decision to raise the minimum wage by nearly half. This is obviously a misprint. This just can't be.

Nor is it easy to work out what Ahmadinejad has spent it on, because he has channelled much of it through religious foundations and to contracts of his own nomination rather than leaving it under the control of ministers and elected parliamentarians. In Iran these are called "Earmarks".

He and Pelosi may have more in common than we are led to believe. Who knows? He might be able to convert Pelosi into a Shiite Muslim.

The Iranians have not been very intelligent with their oil money. The Saudis have, banking it, playing the financial markets, purchasing contol in large corporations, many of them banks, and sending money to Muslim areas that are poor so the faith can grow and expand gradually asit has in many parts of Africa. That seems to be the sunni way, conquer through capiutal and the slow creep.
The Iranians have invested most of their oil money in arming their nation, funding terrorist and exporting them, and building up Syrias armed forces, and generally aiding jihadists financially wherever they can assure that they will convert or maintain Shiism. Many of these ae Saudi nationals. They have blown their wad of capitol, with nuke research also being a sink hole.
Time is running out for Ahmadinijad.
He wants to push the USA into a shooting war to survive. For such a war would unify Iran behind him and necessitate his continuity.
Ahmadinijad and his counccil of mulllahs have a few more tricks up heir sleeves. And we will see them soon.

A religious leader promises much to the poor, says he has divine guidance; then his leadership brings on a busted state monetary reserve, rampant unemployment and inflation, conflict with most of the rest of the world, rationing of the country's most prevalent commodity. Sounds like it could be a plan for our future over here if we voters don't read the road signs and should take a wrong turn.

It only works like that over there.
