On a Monday night in July 1993, a 48-year-old lawyer called Vince Foster was found dead in a park near Washington DC.
He had died from a gunshot wound to the mouth and his father's .38-calibre revolver, dating from 1913, was at his side.
It was the same method of suicide used by a Marine officer in the film A Few Good Men - which Foster was known recently to have watched.
In the movie, the officer had killed himself because he was distraught about testifying against his commanding officer.
In real life, Vince Foster was distraught at the prospect of being grilled about the shady affairs of Hillary Clinton.
A clear case of suicide, then. Or was it? As the months passed, wild rumours began to grow that a hitman had murdered him because he knew too much.
Tall and handsome, Vince Foster was one of Hillary's closest colleagues and best friends.
In Little Rock, Arkansas, they were partners in a law firm while Bill Clinton was governor of the state. And, naturally, when the Clintons moved to the White House, Vince Foster came, too.

I think unless there is a lot of evidence, this kind of talk will hurt the GOP.
ping
That was NOT ‘his father’s gun’.
It was an untraceable “drop gun” assembled from disparate parts.
Just one of the many, many, many, many holes in the “story” agreed upon by the Clintonoids.
There is plenty of evidence its just that the media ignores it.
Read later
He was placed at the back slope of a gun emplacement reached through the adjacent wooded property acessed by an overgrown road.
It features a bunch of non-facts and poor editing.
ML/NJ
Hillary lied, Vince Foster died.
Hopefully the GOP is loaded for bear and has LOTS of real info and facts to use against Mrs. Clinton.
Hiding the dirt til the time is right.
Has anyone ever known (or even heard of) a lawyer who killed himself due to “fretting” over the behavior of his client(s)?
The relatives identified the gun as belonging to Vince’s father. Don’t continue to tell a lie. There’s enough evidence to involve the clintons without it.
for later
I hadn’t seen that - thumb through the trigger guard?
Considering Maddie Albright was one of the cabinet members out on the WH lawn retelling bubba’s lies and then supposidly incensed she had been used by them, I am amazed she is shilling for them. But then again, I guess money/power makes it rather easy to overlook a lack of any integrity.
Robert Fiske and Ken Starr are also colluding with the media to hide the murder?
bump
“a 48-year-old lawyer called Vince Foster “
Was he called that or was that his name?
Just a clue that this might be a rather weak article.
Since waterboarding can’t hurt you, we should do it to the Clintons so we can find out who killed Vince Foster
Where’s my aluminum foil hat?
The public will never believe the innocence of the Clintons and their loyal staff.
I have written this note posthumously and of my own volition and I have never met Anthony Pelicano.
Vince Foster
Hillary ordering the White House staff to fire seven workers in the White House Travel Office for financial mismanagement, with Billy Dale accused of embezzlement. Hillary then lied to a grand jury about how she was not really involved in the firing scheme, even though staffers were writing there would be “hell to pay” if they didn’t do Hillary’s bidding. Billy Dale’s life was ruined. Two years later, it took a jury two hours to acquit him. Why did she do that? What would voters think, Bill?
Hillary making a mysterious $100,000 profit off a $1,000 investment in cattle futures with Tyson Foods lawyer Jim Blair making her trades. Was this a bribe for the governor’s wife? It certainly didn’t fit Hillary’s first fairytale explanation: that she made the trades just reading The Wall Street Journal. Would more focus on this still-unresolved scandal help Hillary’s campaign, Bill?
Hillary’s staffers rifling through Vince Foster’s office for documents in the hours after Foster’s death. One man seen leaving the scene with documents was White House aide and Hillary protégé Craig Livingstone. What was he taking away? Why won’t anyone in your administration give an honest answer, Bill?
Hillary’s Rose Law Firm records “disappeared,” only to reappear in the White House after years of requests for documents from the independent counsel investigating her lawyering for her corrupt business partner Jim McDougal. What were they doing right outside Hillary’s private office, Bill?
Hillary demanding a White House database of friends and enemies. The Clinton White House was found to be in possession of more than 1,000 FBI files of Republican White House employees. At the center of the controversy again was Craig Livingstone, who told friends he was Hillary’s hire. Why were they there? How were they used?
Maddie Albright would have never ever been known had it not been for her networking connection all these years with Hillary. So she owes Hillary Big Time. Further given that Albright was Hillary's pick, we could say that giving nuclear to North Korea was Hillary's plan.
We have never been told one way or the other but I wonder if Hillary was in that meeting where all these upstanding Clinton appointees came out and dispersed their lies?
If Vince Foster had had a gun, he’d be alive today.
Imagine— horrible as it is— shooting yourself in the mouth with a handgun.
The gun-reversed-in-hand, thumb-on-the-trigger method would “work” “best”.
What a resume, filled with experience, if only she could show us her papers. Come on Bill release her papers, you do want her to be the first woman president now don’t you????
“Could some one please just sorta look into possible mismanagement of the private, nongovernmental, travel office? Maybe you might wanna just sic the FBI on Billy Dale and stake out his daughter’s house and grill her, too, when she returns from her honeymoon. And if ya find nothing well, gee, it’d be swell to prosecute Billy anyway. Pretty please.”
And your experience in suicide comes from where???
.
Photoshopped?...or WHAT?!?
Joseph Farah, Paula Jones, et al.
True, but it’s just like the good old days. Pretty soon, Free Republic will be all a twitter with talk of small government and a return to the Constitution. No more big government rationalization and “it’s a dfferent world now” capitulance to Federal power. I’m gettin’ all misty just thinking about it.
It is entirely unnnatural to fire a gun using your thumb.
OTOH-if you’re going to plant a gun its the easiest digit to access.
Curious - what did ABC News have to say about this picture?
10 questions I would like to have Hillary Clinton answer:
Who in the Clinton administration devised the plan to sell taxpayer-financed trade missions in exchange for campaign contributions to the Clinton-Gore 1996 re-election campaign?
Why did you give “factually false” testimony under oath in the investigation of the White House Travel Office firings, as former Independent Counsel Robert Ray stated in his final report?
Who hired former bar bouncer Craig Livingstone and ordered him to illegally obtain for the Clinton administration the FBI files of former staffers in the administrations of Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush?
Why did you fail to report more than $2 million in contributions (from Peter Paul) to your Senate 2000 campaign?
Your brothers Anthony and Hugh Rodham allegedly brokered cash deals to obtain presidential pardons from your husband on behalf of convicted criminals. Were you aware they were each paid large sums to obtain these pardons?
Did you or your lawyers hire private detectives to investigate and intimidate critics of the Clinton administration?
What did you instruct James Carville and George Stephanopoulos to say in order to discredit and defame Gennifer Flowers, a woman with whom your husband had an affair?
Records from the Chicago Mercantile Exchange reveal that you turned a $1,000 investment in cattle futures in 1978 into more than $100,000 in 10 months a return of 10,000 percent. How did you earn such an astronomical, and unbelievable, return on this investment?
How much money does Bill Clinton earn from his relationship with Ron Burkle, a contributor to your Senate campaigns, and Burkle’s company, Yucaipa?
How do you explain the mysterious disappearance of your Whitewater billing records from the office of Vince Foster, the former Rose Law Firm partner and Clinton White House counsel who allegedly committed suicide in 1993?
There’s more to this story than Smith knows. It will all come out one day.
Fiske concluded that there was no evidence to contradict his surmise that Foster walked into Fort Marcy Park and shot himself in the mouth with a .38-caliber revolver. The report reconciled all witness testimony with this conclusion and stated that there was no other trauma to the body that would indicate foul play or that Foster died by any other means than a self-inflicted gunshot into his mouth that exited through the back of his head.
Fiske was able to make this case because, at the time his report was issued, he controlled all of the information. However, during the almost three years that have passed, much of this information has been leaked or pried loose by lawsuits and congressional inquiries.
Moreover, witnesses have come forward who say the Fiske report distorts and manipulates the testimony they gave to the FBI agents who interviewed them. Comparisons of handwritten notes made by FBI agents while interviewing witnesses with the typed versions on the FD-302 forms and the Fiske report do show troubling transformations in meaning that seem designed to make the evidence fit the explanation and to get rid of loose ends.
The person who discovered Foster's body continues to maintain that the gun, allegedly found in Foster's hand, was not in Foster's hand or present anywhere on the scene when he discovered the body The Fiske report also glosses over the fact that witnesses agreed on the description of the car that they saw in the parking lot at the time Foster was lying dead in the park--and it was not a description of Foster's car.
The latest development shakes the very foundation of the Fiske report. In the March 2 London Sunday Telegraph, Ambrose Evans-Pritchard reports that a prosecutor on Starr's staff, disturbed by inconsistencies and conflicting evidence, quietly has been showing one of the original death-scene photos of Foster to forensic scientists and other individuals. The photo reveals a clearly visible small-caliber gunshot wound on the right side of Foster's neck, just below the jawline.
This photo conflicts with the Fiske report's claim that the only trauma to Foster's body is a wound to the back of the head from the gunshot into the mouth.
The photo confirms the testimony of paramedics present at the scene(firemen). In his deposition to the Senate Banking Committee on July 14,1994, Richard Arthur said he saw a bullet hole in Foster's neck near the jawline on the right side. When confronted with the official story of gunshot through the mouth, Arthur said: "Fine. Whether the coroner's report says that or not, fine. I know what I saw."
If you trust Fiske you'll trust anybody, and as far as Starr who knows what he was thinking. Im saying there is evidence.
11. Who “serviced” Ron Brown’s plane?
When I saw that picture the first time lo, these many years ago, I used a blue gun (rubber replica small-frame revolver) to try to figure it out.
My conclusions:
Holding the gun as though to fire it at a target to one’s front, and then turning it to place the muzzle at or inside the mouth, unwieldy.
Holding it in the same manner but rotating the wrist so the gun is upside down, more “comfortable” (even with a dummy gun, my heart was racing throughout this procedure and I had to stop and rest from time to time).
Placing the thumb in the triggerguard and wrapping the fingers around the back of the handgrip, “best” and most “comfortable”, and the muzzle easiest to direct. Another test with a real gun, pointed in a safe direction, showed that the thumb (mine, anyway) is strong enough for a DA trigger pull.
how about the substance of the 17 phone calls in a period of an hour or two exchanged with susan thomases that she couldn’t recall the dteails of,or thomases’ stonewalling on the subject?at the time i thought if they had just clipped off one of bernie nussbaum’s ears, the whole story would’ve come out
Talk about a dead horse.
It happens that way in every administration.
The past is prologue.
I agree.
There is enough on the Clintons without using hypotheticals which will probably never be proven.
Did that photo AEP was showing around ever make onto the net?
Not to worry. It's simply the way the British speak our common language.
For example, they will normally say:
"The current President of the USA is called George Bush."
Whereas we Americans will normally say:
"The current President of the USA is named George Bush."
It's just a difference in usage, with no underhanded implication.

This Vince Foster #(%*# is old news Freepers -- so let it rest!
