How come the graph in the 1975 article doesn’t agree with the graphs in post 23?

I dunno, maybe because the graph in #23 is newer with better data? Or maybe the 1975 graph had less inherent bias and is more accurate? Or maybe the creator of the 1975 graph had invested heavily in firewood futures and the creator of the later graph has invested in Gore's carbon offset schemes?

Who knows?

"Accurate" measurement devices go back a long way. "Accurate measurement" records have not yet been created.

This has to do with a maintenance problem as yet unresolved, nor does anyone have any idea how to fix it.
