From your link...

“Ambassador Siljander is uniquely qualified to engage the Muslim world. With over 24 years serving in the power circles of Washington and semi-official travel to nearly 130 countries, he has generated unique opportunities for frequent access to world leaders. These experiences have led him to develop a unique paradigm for the peaceful resolution of conflict that has been successfully applied in several challenging areas of the globe. These methods are outlined in his soon-to-be-released book on building bridges to the Islamic world and strategies to thwart the growing threat of terrorism.

Congressman Siljander has received acclaim for his work in reconciliation. He received various leadership awards, including the 1996 Mohandas K. Gandhi International Peace Award, in recognition of his courageous statesmanship in international reconciliation. In addition, former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright honored Ambassador Siljander, at the United Nations, for his efforts toward a more just, humane and peaceful world. American and international Muslim leaders have lauded Siljander for his compassion and understanding of their culture and distinctive approach to bridge-building techniques.”

I’d waterboard his ass just on general principles, see if he knows anything, or is a creative liar when he is uhm, ‘stressed’...

He’ll likely get a book and movie deal, and then will be handily re-elected to congress.

Given the RINO slate of candidates (exception Thompson and Hunter), I have ceased to see a meaningful distinction between Republicans and Democrats.

There is no “reconciliation” with the cult of Islam.

Built into their ideology is taqiyya - their system of deceiving and bamboozling idiots like him

Whew! Good thing he was a Republican! He might have gotten away with it, if he had been a Democrat...especially since it’s an election year!

He’s not a REAL Republican, and he’s not a REAL American.

The acts he has engaged in are tantamount to treason. He’s an enemy combatant. Send him to Guantanamo and lock him up for the duration of the War on Terror, which will be a life sentence.

I agree. He is definitely a traitor and should be sent to Guantanamo.

ROP Bump. Muzzies just cannot be trusted regardless of the cover they provide themselves. Congressman, indeed. Now that I think about it, why don’t we have a good, old-fashioned house cleaning this coming November, and get rid of every last one of the greedy, dumb idiots?

Note that Rep. Siljander lists George H.W. Bush and Duncan Hunter as references #1 and #2 on his corporate website.

Just because they have an R by there name doesn’t mean they are a republican.

“If true, send him to Gitmo”

If we send him to gitmo, will Saudi Arabia lobby to get him home?

I suppose anyone doing anti-American things should be sent to Guantanamo....

...you know, anti-American things like suggesting "innocent until proved guilty" is irrelevant...eh?

REAL Americans wouldn't suggest accusation=guilt, but, of course, you know that.
