WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President George W. Bush's daughter Jenna and her fiance, Henry Hager, will marry on May 10, People magazine reported on its Web site on Wednesday, citing two sources it did not identify.
The wedding will be held at the president's 1,600-acre (646-hectare) ranch in Crawford, Texas, one source told the magazine.
A spokeswoman for first lady Laura Bush said she could not confirm the report and had no comment on it.
"It's going to be a small wedding," the source told People, adding Jenna had already selected her bridesmaids. "She's very excited. They make a great couple."

I don’t suppose there will be any black helicopters hovering overhead....at least not ones used to maintain security.
May they have a loving and enduring marriage.
If I were the president’s daughter I would have my wedding in the White House...
Let’s have some pics, we know the rules. ;^)
fyi folks: RPV means “Republican Party of Virginia”
If I was the President’s daughter I would have my wedding anywhere I want.
Having just survived 2 weddings for both my daughters within one month, a “small wedding” is a very relative term. Hollywood productions is more accurate.
OTOH, Chelsea would take full advantage of having a WH wedding and invite the kings and queens of the world so she can receive tons and tons of gifts.
"Lord, please don't let these people back into our house".

If the MSM hated my dad as much as they do President Bush, I would do everything I could to make sure they could not claim a right to crash my wedding, which they might do if it were held at the White House.
May I be so bold as to declare the other one, Barb as way, way cuter.
This is not the time for low key. This is the time to bring sunshine, beauty, hope, love, and celebration back into our otherwise day-to-day horrible news cycle, campaigns, hillary/obama mo-pokes at each other. CLASS, people, we need some CLASS.
maybe she was singing an opera at this moment...
I heard this morning along with a comment that it might not be valid since the President will be out of the country at that time. Did anyone else hear this?
I was rooting for Crawford and thought Jena would choose Crawford. It will still be a beautiful, classy event where photos will fly all over the world and people will be able to see this wonderful family very grounded in American tradition, not power of the White House. She didn’t need to put on a show for the press to barb and hassle her.

Actually, I would try to have a small wedding but have it at the WH. But good for Jenna for doing it the way she wants.
People mag. reported this yesterday.

"The daughters of President George W. Bush, Barbara and Jenna, walk together at Andrews Air Force Base outside Washington before departing for their parent's Texas ranch in Crawford, December 26, 2007."

Laura Bush told People magazine in November she fancied the idea of a White House wedding herself but knew it would not be very private. "And of course we want to do what Jenna wants to do," she said.
I'm sure Jenna agrees with you.
Fantastic. I wish them both well.
When either of the young ladies gets married, I would think they would have low-key weddings and not invite the press. They've managed to stay out of the spotlight better than most presidential kids so far, and I think that's a good thing.
Probably the funnest young ladies in the public eye we've ever seen.
I, for one, appreciate they're attitude(s) regarding their position(s) as first daughters ... and If I was 30 years younger ......
God bless your marriage, Jenna.
Bummer, I was really looking forward to a beautiful White House Wedding...
Oh God...I want that white coat!!
That’s sort of my point. When a gossip rag reports it first, be skeptical.
I’d hit it.
Thanks...had NO idea.
The secret service would hit back.
Yeah,
but a wedding at home is always way more fun.
Folks can take their shoes off and dance silly.
Why aren’t they having the wedding at the White House? That would be so gorgeous.
Knarf...you'd never have a chance. But it's ok to dream. :)
Oh, BAD picture.
“OTOH, Chelsea would take full advantage of having a WH wedding and invite the kings and queens of the world so she can receive tons and tons of gifts.”
Not necessary. Jenna will get tons and tons of gifts from people she DOESN’T invite. So would Chelsea.
“May I be so bold as to declare the other one, Barb as way, way cuter.”
Both are real cute, but I agree I find Barbara the prettier of the two. Kind of one of those Ginger or Marry Ann kind of questions. Oh and on that, a young boy with hormones working overtime like Ginger best.
Sounds like something the clintons would do. Make the taxpayers foot the bill for their horse-faced daughters wedding celebration.
Isn’t it cute!
Best wishes to the happy couple. Smart decision on Jenna’s part to avoid a Whitehouse wedding.
You know every kook under the sun would hold a protest.
“at the White House, President Bush is vilified and not welcome.”
That is one of the most assinine statements I’ve read on FR in quite some time!!
I agree, but I did not type that statement.
Surely this was just a joke, because the premise of that statement is ridiculous.
A respectable Republican cloth coat. (The kind Pat Nixon would wear).
You’ll have to fight me for it!
Just speculating :)
You could personally house a lot of illegal aliens on a ranch that big!
I remember at the beginning of the President’s first term, he showed a gaggle of reporters a beautiful place on his ranch that he called his “cathedral”. And he said he was going to clean it up and his greatest wish was to see one or both his daughters married there. May is a beautiful time in Texas. Pray for sunshine and no tornadoes.
I’d like to see the wedding on nominating night of the Democratic convention.
An utterly stupid remark. Beyond stupid.
Someone has a ranch, no matter what they believe about illegal aliens, and that ranch is also the Western White House, and in a story about their daughter getting married on the property you imply they are hiding illegal aliens on the ranch?
Beam me up, Scotty. There’s no intelligent life here.
The reporter was questioning the accuracy of Reuters, not implying that Jenna’s father was not going to attend the wedding.
