The Democrats--and their Leftist constituents--are divided along sharp, deep fault lines that seperate the self-serving special interest groups that the Democrat Party has held together by its sleazy propaganda and pork-barrel policies.
Not so the Republicans--their constituents vary in priorities but are united by a profound love of the United States; the American Dream and a commitment thereto; a profound love of truth, justice, and morality; and a profound rejection of the Decadence that threatens to destroy Western Civilization and which the Democrat Party represents.
The Republicans have an excellent chance of electing the President in 2008 and electing a Republican Congressional majority.
I can’t quite see Rudy as #2 either... It might be possible.
What’s the latest polling for Floridud?
It’s too close for Giuliani to clean up in Fla. He’s tied with McCain.
Still, I’m voting for him because I’ve decided there is no way I can support McCain if he wins the nomination.
Giuliani has had wide leads in delegate-rich states voting that day, such as California, New York, New Jersey and Illinois, and he expected to capture smaller Connecticut and Delaware, too. “
Giuliani has lost his lead in Cali to McCain.
He’s still way up in Jersey, PA, New York (I assume). Don’t know about Illinois.
Bottom line: He’s gonna get a bunch of delegates on 2/5 unless his inevitable loss in FL pulls the plug in those states, also. But whatever he wins on 2/5, which seems to be getting much smaller, I’m not sure that it will matter that much very soon.
It really seems like Giuliani is sinking. That is one of the amazing stories of this cycle.
I’m with you. Giuliani/Thompson would be excellent.
