Just before the Michigan Primary this week, I (Matt Romney) decided to take a some pressure off my dad with a little comic relief. Those that know him recognize that he loves a good practical joke. I tried to figure out when he'd be breaking for food so I could videotape the call. Have a look:

A little humor to lighten things up around here. Maybe Matt is making his case to be appointed the head of the FCC here?

Stealing a bit from Howard Stern and not giving him credit.
Just like a Romney.

>>Stealing a bit from Howard Stern and not giving him credit. So Howard Stern invented the prank call? News to me. I never watch his show, and I highly doubt Matt Romney has. Though I did see him on Leno once and swithced it off after about 30 seconds. You sound like you are familiar with this left wing nut. Anything else you know about Howard that you would like to share? Are there any other liberals you'd like to confess to watching on a conservative news forum?

Hannity interviewed Stern a few years ago on his radio show. He is more libertarian than liberal.

So Howard Stern invented the prank call? No, just the prank call where he uses Arnolds voice and plays selected reaction comments creating the illusion that the callee is actually talking to the Governor.
I'm sure Matt WILLARD rat boy Jr. could tell you all about it.
If you support Romney you don't have a clue as to what a conservative is but you probably would make an easy mark for a vacuum cleaner salesman.

I debated on whether to use “punked” instead of “pranked”. In the end, I just couldn’t bring myself to quote Ashton Kutcher.

No, just the prank call where he uses Arnolds voice and plays selected reaction comments creating the illusion that the callee is actually talking to the Governor. "Who is your daddy and what does he do?" - As corny as it was, Kindergarten Cop is still one of my all-time favorite movies. Arnold was great, as was Pamela Reed.
To: Petronski

Howard stern invented the idea to use a celebrity’s voice to prank-call someone? Did he make up the soundboard of arnie quotes you can find on literally dozens of internet sites too?
Wow, news to me.

There are ‘soundboard’ tools online that let you do prank calls like this. Both for Arnie and other characters. There are also recordings of some very funny prank calls made with them.
One Arnie soundboard is at:

I loved the movie too. The part where Kimball has been shot and is being taken to the ambulance and one of his kids comes along side the gurney and tearfully asks “Mr. Kimball, are you OK?” actually chokes me up. My favorite line in the movie, though, is his line “IT’S NOT A TUMOR!”

Now that is pretty good....though a cell phone would show WHERE the call is coming from, wouldn’t it? Of course, Mitt might not have looked at the number if he was just handed the phone.
