Here’s one you might hear:

Ben Stein in his Farris Buhler booring guy voice:

I’m Ben Stein. Forget everything I’ve written or you’ve heard me say. That was all crap. Instead, vote for my good best friend Al Franken. He’s a really good guy.

Thank you.

I think it’s unwise for Norm to bring up Franken’s New Yawk connection. At least Franken can do an imitation of a Minnesotan. He used to be one after all.

Personally, I have little trust in pols from NY who come here claiming to have “midwest” values. What’s that mean-they favor ethanol subsidies?

Coleman is far mushier than I’d like him to be but Stuart Smalley would be an embarrassment.

Norm is one of the only democrats I ever voted for (first term as mayor of St Paul, or as he calls it Sa Pooal). Guess I’ll vote for him again.

when I lived in St.Paul I voted for him as a pubbie and Randy Kelly once as a dim.

Kelly was a decent mayor and a decent person.
