You gotta give it to the Clintons. They fight a good, sleazy, scum at the bottom of the pond fight.
This is Clinton hardball, but the truth is Obama is up to his neck in the Rezko scandal. His home purchase smells to high heaven.

Maybe, but his problems don’t even come up to the level of petty deliquencies compared to the Clintons fundraising crimes.

Correct, and everytime the national press picks up on it, the story fades away. Maybe now this will begin to get better play.
We’ve been reading the Sun-Times developing the story for a few years.

No, not this time. it's not the Clinton's (really).
Obama's business buddy, Anton 'Tony' Rezko, is tied at the hip to 'my' ijit gov, Rod Blagojevich (they're 'closer than ticks'). And Blago and 'Da Mayor', Richie Daley (King IL), are 'enemies' because Blago won't play sock puppet 100% of the time for 'Da Mayor'. So if anything it's the Daley Machine at work here.
Most outside IL don't know, but Obama won the Rat IL Sen. Primary as an outsider. He beat Machine candidate Dan Hynes. The Hynes family is a rat family powerhouse in Chi and IL. When Obama beat 'the kid' Dan, The Machine was shaken to its core.
Plus Patrick Fitzgerald has been going after corrupt Pols of both parties since he's been here. He already got George Ryan (RINO), some upper level Daley Machine guys, and is now going after the gov Blago (& Rezko), and the Cook County Board for corruption. Oh and in Fitz's spare time he just took down the Chicago Mob. He solved Mob Hits going back 18 years.
Fitz takes 'no prisoners'. Don't know what happened with Scooter, but Fitz is the best Fed prosecutor we've ever had in the Chi area.
Does it really matter? Behavior that gets conservatives thrown in jail gets democrats elected.
Scooter Libby says this smear / leak / innuendo smells of Clinton Inc.
