The only reason this fringe candidate gets such disproportionate press coverage is that the death to America media wants to split the Republican vote. Even the lousy 6% Ron Paul is polling would be enough to guaranty a Rat in the White House.

“America media wants to split the Republican vote.”
I thought they were Soros funded liberals?
In case you are unaware, Norma is now a tireless campaigner for the pro-life cause.
watch florida - he’ll suck like a hoover there too
Okay, 1.25 million today, 2.6 for the quarter, got it.
Enough babies blood has been shed since 1973 to float the USS Ronald Reagan, our newest aircraft carrier.
I meant to say “the death to America media wants to split the Republican vote.”
Well here’s SC: http://abcnews.go.com/politics/elections/state?state=SC&ref=ipb
Thanks for the link.
I see Thompson and Paul ended up with the same delegates, ZERO. They both tied with Romney, Rudyjudy and Hunter.
Doesn’t matter how many votes you get if you end up with ZERO delegates.
lets not confuse frednaticism with reality and cold hard delegates
Are you serious?
Dr Ron Paul. Unblemished Pro-file voting record. Over 4000 babies delivered, 0 abortions performed. Unflinching support for the Civil Liberties guaranteed by the Constitution for both the living and the unborn.
I was hoping Ron Paul would be in DC for the march, I don’t know if any other candidates are doing that, have the courage to do that, but this is good.
Are you serious? Yeah, seriously which press are you watching?
Good point, but I don’t believe he supports a constitutional amendment to protect life, right? He’s a real states-rights guy, and in essence would not interfere much in abortion issues, would you say? Also, he doesn’t seem to address pro-life matters very strongly on his website. I am not criticizing you, but asking for clarification, as I have a good friend supporting Ron Paul an am trying to catch up on him and get a real understanding of the man. As a medical doctor, his pro-life record is consistent and impressive, but what would he do as President? Thanks!
According to his website he also authored legislation that seeks to define life as beginning at conception, HR 1094. He wants to remove the courts from the decision of life, but I don't think he believes it requires an amendment.
The GOP never had these votes to begin with.
It doesn't matter if Paul runs 3rd party or not. I've talked to many of his supporters who said they're still going to write his name on the ballot in the general election if he doesn't go 3rd party. I know that if McCain or Huckabee or Rudy is nominated, I'm writing in Paul's name.
Ron Paul isn’t a serious candidate
If he isn’t serious, then name the serious candidate that will attend this event with Ms. McCorvey. Or don’t they care?
Correction, These weren’t dollars donated due to arm twisting by party hacks calling in favors...
he did much better than Guiliani, Thompson and Duncan Hunter so far
Ron Paul’s issues are serious, even if he is ignored.
CAMERON: Congressman Paul, yet another question about electability.
Do you have any, sir? There’s always the question as to whether or not...
... you are, in fact, viable. Your differences with the Republicans on the — with the rest of the Republi-cans on this stage has raised questions about whether or not you can actually win the Republican nomi-nation, sir.
PAUL: Well, we’ve only had two little primaries so far. So it’s pretty premature to decide which one is going to be the candidate.
But, you know, when you think about it, if you measured everything I’ve ever said, every vote I’ve ever taken against the Constitution, you know, I’m a strict constitutionalist.
Are you suggesting the Republicans should write me off because I’m a strict constitutionalist? I’m the most conservative member here. I have voted, you know, against more spending and waste in govern-ment than anybody else.
So you’re suggesting that I’m not electable and the Republicans don’t want me because I’m a strict fiscal conservative, because I believe in civil liberties? Why should we not be defending civil liberties and why should we not be talking about foreign policy that used to be the part of the Republican Party?
PAUL: Mr. Republican Robert Taft didn’t even want us to be in NATO and you’re saying now that we have to continue to borrow money from China to finance this empire that we can’t afford?
Let me see if I get this right. We need to borrow $10 billion from China, and then we give it to Mushar-raf, who is a military dictator, who overthrew an elected government. And then we go to war, we lose all these lives promoting democracy in Iraq. I mean, what’s going on here?
And you’re saying that this isn’t appealing to Republicans? Where did this come about? I think this is the Republican message. I defend the platform. It used to say we’d (inaudible) the Department of Education. It doesn’t say that now.
We, as Republicans, went and doubled the size of the Department of Education, so where have we gone? I think we’ve lost our way. And then the insinuation that I am less Republican because of that?
HUME: Congressman, thank you very much.
That's hardly a selling point, but at least you're honest.
I’ll be writing his name in no matter who the GOP candidate is if it’s not Dr. Paul. I’m tired of people expecting me to vote for the lessor of two evils. This election my vote will count, against the status quo.
That lil great grandson is so cute.
Amen sister! Me too! = )
Watch the others fall and see who gets the last laugh.
"make fun buddy" -Ron Paul
Join the Ron Paul Republican Revolution.
***Im tired of people expecting me to vote for the lessor of two evils. This election my vote will count, against the status quo.***
After 04, I decided no more. Sorry for the Sharpton rhyme.
woops, I didn’t mean to post it on this thread. Sorry.
Difference being, Paul’s 6% is far more likely to grow and bring “new” people into it then the candidates with larger name recognition and more positive media coverage will.
A holoPaul domestic platform would really work, but our candidates seem not be as daring as Ron Paul is. I like Paul’s positions, however, he is a not a very good politician IMO.
You're still wrong.
