An email attributed to Sen. John Kerry, the former 2004 Democratic presidential nominee sent out by the Barack Obama campaign, took on those that would 'swiftboat' Obama.
Kerry, saying in the email that "this is personal for me, and for a whole lot of Americans who lived through the 2004 election," tells Obama supporters that "we must stop the swiftboating, stop the push-polling, stop the front groups, and stop the email chain smears.
"The truth matters, but how you fight the lies matters even more. We must be determined never again to lose any election to a lie."
"These are the same tactics the right has used again and again, and as we've learned, these attacks, no matter how bogus, can spread and take root if they go unchecked."

Hey Sen. Kerry! You did lose the election because of a lie. The lie in question was when you told us that you didn’t slander our Vietnam vets.
It is a physical IMPOSSIBLITY to “swiftboat” Obama as he did not serve with Swiftboat Veterans.
The DNC needs to get their head out of their rumps and learn a new buzzword.
They like to cry “witchhunt” but there WERE witches on trial in The Crucible. The dirty Reds’ argument was that there was no crime in being a “witch” in the service of Uncle Joe Stalin, the KGB, or Stalin’s deadly labor camps.

Kerry/Obama use "The Right" as red herring when talking about Hillary. Perhaps to them, the Clintons seem to be right-wing.
The obvious question for the Kerry/Obamas: Why have you spent years backing the Clintons, making excuses for them, covering up their crimes? Shouldn't you apologize for that if you now want to break with them?

Which is why the Swift Boat veterans came forth en masse, at great personal risk and cost TO TELL THE TRUTH.
“Swift Boating” = “Telling the Truth” that the target doesn’t want told.
Amazing how the word “swiftboating” has been hijacked by the libs and lamestream media to mean something totally opposite of what actually occurred.
Kerry tried to sell the nation a ration of crap regarding his Vietnam service and a whole lot of people who served with him shined the extremely bright light of truth on it and refused to back down.
Kerry never refuted their claims because he couldn’t. He never signed the 180 because he couldn’t. What he could do and what he has done, is deny, lie, filibuster, change topics and ultimately in the case of the word “swiftboating”, alter the very definition so it gives him the appearance of being unfairly attacked.
It’s as brilliant as it is despicable and it is another illustration of why Republicans never win when it comes to fighting dirty. We simply are not as good as it as they are because fighting dirty is considered dishonorable to us, but a simple matter of doing normal business to them.
