Ringo to Reg: I must be a Starr (Ringo Starr Walks Off "Live With Regis...")

Its been 37 years since Ringo Starr was a Beatle but he apparently hasnt forgotten how to be a diva.
Starr walked off the set of Live with Regis and Kelly yesterday rather than cut short one of his songs.
Still, [Ringo's fellow rocker Dave] Stewart blasted the show for trying to force Ringos musical legacy (to) take a back seat to additional banter about the size of Ms. Ripas derriere.

Ringo & Dave got tired of hearing Kelly Ripa ramble. Frankly, I don't blame them. She is tedious.

I saw video of him last night pushing fans out of the way and literally running over them on multiple occasions. It wasn’t pretty.
That said, I’d probably run away from Kelly as well.

Geeez what is two extra minutes. Good for Ringo.

I think the producers made the right choice.
If I have a choice between female derriere talk and Ringo singing - I’ll take female rear ends all day long

if I was Ringo I’d get the heck out of there as soon as I could, too. sooner if possible. Ripa is such a PINTA adn she doesn’t go well with Regis.

Hotties are a sime a dozen, you can watch hotter hotties on many channels and the internet, not an excuse to keep no talent on a talent show.

when did it become a “talent” show ?
To: SoFloFreeper
If you are going to ask a Beatle to perform musically, then give them ALL the time they want, sheesh.

Kelly Ripa, uugh! The media used to lambaste Kathy Lee, but they don’t lay a hand on Kelly, who is a million times more obnoxious. Kathy Lee is a conservative Christian, not to mention a good entertainer and ad-libber. Guess that explains that.

I’ve got to side with Ringo on this one. They have people like him on to draw an audience and then the audience is forced to hear these popinjays run their pie holes on all the inanities that fill their small heads. Who has the ego problem, the artist they drag on for ratings or the chattering know-nothing that can’t allow a few minutes for the singer to sing his song?

Never a fan of the drug induced, wife beating, USA criticizing twerps from England. They have always rode on the coat tails of adolescent girls and the Japanese. In my book. once separated the world found out what they truely were and they all became flash in the pans. I never laughed so hard as I did at Mc Cartneys Super bowl blundering performance. It rated right up there with Hillary’s crying.

The reporter is a complete jerk! Who the hell even books a 4 1/2 minute song for only two minutes? That’s ridiculous! Regis producer to Michelangelo: Sorry, but we were hoping David would be three feet tall, tops. Maybe you could chop off the top half?

Or worse still producer to Michelangelo: We want you to reproduce the Sisteen Chapel in our studio and you will have 2 1/2 minutes to do it. Michelangelo wants to compromise to get at least 5 minutes and he is literally thrown under the bus for questioning the producer.

Some of the best popular recordings ever made run from just under two to two and a half minutes. How long would he sing it in a live show?
