Anybody can make a mistake or a slip of the tongue.
McCain pushing for amnesty was not a mistake or a slip of the tongue. It was a deliberate, premeditated attempt in the dead of night to ram wholesale amnesty for illegal aliens down America's throat without so much a public hearing.
I will forgive McInsane for calling Putin a German. I will not forgive him for his backstabbing attempt to destroy America with amnesty.

Many are advising a certain leniency for McCain on this occasion. Where were these benevolent souls when Huckabee misspoke concerning the Assassination in Pakistan? I believe that one of the comments made then was that in Presidential politics every word is important. I would recommend to McCain that from here on in avoid departing from the written script. Mr. McCain President Reagan could pull this off but you sir are no Reagan, in fact I don’t believe you would make a pimple on the great man’s behind.
