He has appointed abortion activists, and gay marraige activists as judges.
This man can be allowed nowhere near the ability to appoint Supreme Court judges.

I don’t think people “hate” Romney. I plan to vote for him now, since there is no other GOP candidate that has a snowball’s chance in hell of getting my vote.

While I agree with you, I also think that the man is capable of listening if the public blitzes him with information that is pro-2nd amendment.
I do not think the same about Huckabee, McCain and Guiliani - they are all narcissistic creeps who will plow blindly ahead thinking they know better than the “little people”.

He’s a better liar than they are.
But he’s just another Rino that will sell us out.

"Hes a better liar than they are." He is a liar for sure and the fact that you know it is not a good sign that he is good at it. LOL.

People really need to stop relying on the MSM for their info.
In Mass the governor can only appoint from a list sent to him from a commission appointed by the legislature. Romney had a liberal-left legislature. They had a liberal-left commission.
If no conservative choices are sent to you, there is no mechanism to go outside the list, from what I understand.

McCain, fehhh! Huckabee, fehhh!
Rudy, fehhh!
By process of elimination, Romney. There you go.
Hope that wasn't too cerebral.

Yup. I certainly don’t hate him. If he’s the candidate I’ll be voting for him. But I would still disagree that Mormonism is Christian religion,
To: sinclair
Good analysis. And for those who hate Romney, who DO you want us to vote for?

LOL Ms. Goldstein seems to think she is Ms Cleo, able to read the minds of others. (Either that, or she’s just too stupid to realize that Presidential candidates snip at and about each other all the time. Mitt has done it himself.)

The fools backing losing candidates look to national polls to get their fix.
...but national polls are poor predictors of non-national elections.

You speak of Pro-Romney SPAM. Anything on McCain is SPAM to me and has been for years. IMHO, McCain does not have the temperament nor the philosophy to lead the Free World as President of the United States. He is another of the ilk of Bill & Hillary in that he will tell you he knows what is best for you and doesn't care what your opinion is. He is a compromiser and will not stand up for what he says are his beliefs ... as evidenced by his actions in the US Senate over the years. His closeness and willingness to support and champion Dem ideals and bills is disgusting.
The Republican Party needs some one who is in their camp. Romney is a moderate republican ... in the republican camp. McCain, Rudy and Huckabee are liberal republicans ... on the fringe almost out of the republican camp. We have a chance to build and move into a more conservative leaning with Romney to move to more conservative but never with the others. Casting a vote for McCain or Rudy is asking for leadership just like Hillary's, in effect casting a vote for dem/liberal government. McCain and Rudy, for sure, and most possibly Huckabee are more than RINO's ... they are closet Democrats.
As far as flip-flopping ... they all do it. Every single politician you can name. I'd imagine if we look at ourselves we would see over the years (50+ for me, father of 4 girls and retired after 26 yrs - USAFR/SMS) I too have changed my views over the years. That would include you, too.
Lets look at their actions today and in recent things which show their character. Whether it's politically motivated you nor I can really know. We don't know anyones ulterior motives. How can anyone assumes so here. We can take their words and determine which will keep us on a steady course as little changed as possible.
If you want change ... vote Hillary, Obama, McCain or Rudy. You will get the democrat idea of change. Right now vote Romney and keep us in a predominantly republican camp, both his feet are in the republican camp. The others are on their way out of it. Then get more republicans in Congress at the same time. To stop a dem don't vote for one with the same mentality.
