Today on the Michael Reagan Show, Michael invites Mitt Romney supporters to climb up on the Soapbox and be heard. Call in from 7-8pm EASTERN Time (4-5pm Pacific) and make the case for Gov Romney. Just call 800 468 6453 and make the case for Mitt.
See you on the radio!!
I saw Mike Reagan on Fox and Friends this morning. He did not seem to be supportive of Romney.
Reagan was pushing for a brokered convention on FoxNews this morning in hopes that Newt Gingrich would emerge as the dark horse.
lol.
Hillary would love that.
I think Mike wants all the candidates to be heard at this time, he has said repeatedly that he doesn’t endorse during the primaries—playing it the same as his father.
“make the case for Mitt.”
He’s a moderate. Everyone else in the race with a chance is to the left of Romney. On that knowledge alone, he is the only one left that should get the nomination.
Should he fail, say hello to Hillary for all I care.
Actually what Michael said was that with Thompson dropping out, a brokered convention might favor Newt as the conservative alternative. Again, I don’t believe Michael has endorsed any candidate currently running or unannounced.
Then I would say, you need to call in and make the case for mitt...Mitt, not as left as the others....lol
I’m going from Fred to no one right now. It’s the only way to keep the candidates to the right. Once they think they have us, they can say and do anything they want. I want them courting us and proving themselves to us.
“Mitt, not as left as the others”
“Mitt! The thought of voting for him DOESN’T make me want to slit my wrists!”
Ha...Mitt, he’s not as bad as ___________hillary??
I don’t care who’s on the soapbox. I can’t listen to that boring show.
Well bully for you!
If McCain does happen to get the GOP nod, he will move leftward to gain more Independents and Liberals. [He abandoned the real conservatives along time ago, and chances are, he wont be able to regain their confidence and votes.]
Ironically, if Clinton does get the Dem nod, she will move rightward to gain more Independents and Moderates.
They could pass each other, politically. By November, McCain could show up as the liberal and Clinton as the conservative.
With all of the demonizing of Hillary, I think you are more than likely correct. Hillary, who is a populist, would move towards the center just like Bill. McCain, who is a true believer, will fight tooth and nail for his liberal positions.
Great analysis!
And totally believable....Does anyone really believe that McCain has gotten religion on Amnesty?? No way Jose..
Have you guys totally written off Romney or Obama on the other side?? Just wondering...
Some Republicans insist that the only perfect candidate would be a clone of my Dad, Ronald Reagan. Aside from the fact that there is no such thing, its important to recognize that Ronald Reagan, as he often admitted, was anything but perfect.
One of the criticisms about former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney focuses on his record concerning the abortion issue. We are told by the modern day Diogenes clones that he cant be trusted to fight abortion because he once, more or less, supported a womans right to butcher her baby. It may come as a surprise to these purists, but Ronald Reagan once supported abortion too. Yet nobody ever questioned his strong pro-life credentials after his conversion to Republicanism. They accepted his sincerity. Why cant they accept Mitt Romneys?
Romneys record shows he should be totally acceptable to all conservatives, yet because of one dubious question concerning the validity of his conversion to the pro-life side, he is deemed unsuitable to carry the conservative banner.

Great find, but I still don’t consider that an endorsement any more than I consider this an endorsement of McCain...http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=24284
The Mormon issue has just come up...
Next Monday on the show will be a Rudy love-fest. Equal time to give out information to help the voter decide? Maybe.
