Is it just me, or is the knock down drag out brawl forming between the Obamas (Barak and Michele) and the Clintons (Hilary and Bill) not the BEST thing we have seen in a long time? I mean seriously, with the writers still on strike in Hollywood, and little other than American Idol on TV, you could not have scripted a better soap opera than what is playing out in DNC Politics today! It gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside My friends it looks like Hillary and Barak are going to tenderize the living you know what out of one another, and so far they are making themselves look just horrible! Granted, Obama is taking a bit higher road, but not by much, and he is doing a WONDERFUL job of turning Hillarys best arguments against her. Most notably: Bill and Hill are a package deal. Something that most Americans do NOT want a repeat of! That being said, I am enjoying the brawl immensely! Those two camps are going to tear each other to shreds in their lust for power. It may become so bad, that the Democrats will not be able to pull themselves together for the General election. Having practiced the Politics of DIVISION for so long, I think perhaps they have forgotten any other way of operating. Well, that is working just great for me! A small side note to all of us on the other side of the Isle, we would do best to heed the lesson here. The Politics of destruction Destroys. We MUST be mindful of what we want to preserve and what we want to CREATE. Not focus, as the Democrats are, on destruction (insert your own list of things they want to destroy here)! Reagan won because he made us believe that we could CREATE. And we did. That my friends is the Regan Legacy.
Now, I wonder whats going to get thrown in round 3? We have the Race Jab, the gender Jab, the Bill Jab (which has got to lead to the Bimbo jab), the Whitewater Jab has to be forthcoming
. What about the China Jab thats a RICH field of shots right there. Ah, this is the most fun I have had in a long time, watching this celebrity Death Match. Wonder who is going to come out on top?
That’s a Celebrity Death Match I’d love to see.
“Let’s get it on!”
Rush is calling it the “Democrat Uncivil War”
Bump
Personally, I despise racial politics and I’m just as pleased as I can possibly be that the dem party is getting hoisted on its own petard!
Tag team celebrity death match!
The Clintons vs. the Obamas!
With special guest referee......Monica Lewinski!!!
It does make you feel good for all the right reasons doesn’t it?
And here’s our Round girls! Ms. Paula Jones! Ms. Jennifer Flowers! Ms. Kathleen Wiley! And for our musical interlude... Ms. LINDA TRIPP! Put your hands TOGETHA now!!!!!
Best thing is, Hill and Barak are dividing the Dem party. Over at the Dem web sites, the voters are every bit as nasty and divisive as the candidates. Imagine that.
Edwards should be their nominee. At least he acts like a grownup. Say what you will about trial attorneys, they do know how to be persuasive without battering their opponents.
But over on our side, the battering is looking pretty tough too.
I’d pay to see that!!
LOL!!
Heck, I would donate to Rudy’s campaign to see that, and thats saying something! LOL
Yea, it brings to mind an old phrase, the enemy of my enemy is my friend!
It basically rips Hillary and Obama both. Some very unhappy campers in the liberal community.
Tee hee!
Actually I disagree this is a good thing as what is occuring as a result is almost calculable.
OHHHHHHH POOOOOOOOOOR OBAMA! from all over the electoral spectrum as the Clinton dogs pile on him. People of all Political persuasion are wringing their hands for poor Obama. Those mean, nasty Clintons...Those people with all that experience piling on that poor young man. IT JUST ISN’T FAIR!!!!!!.
Where is the focus? On the Democrats. Who gives minutes to the Democrats and only seconds IF ANY to the Republican? The MSM, as well their focus is on their Republican choice for the benefit of their Democrats to consume on the trail to the General Election.
I wrote in a post back more than a year ago that I thought Obama would be the running mate for the Hillary/Bill Co-Presidential run, and more and more it is looking as though I was correct. This dog fight is to gain focus for the party, then they will all be kissy-face later, and then run holding hands right through the front door of 1600 PA. Ave.
Assuming Clinton is the nominee Obama is not the VP nominee, I hope the majority of Blacks reject her.
It’s time to ‘UNMASK’ the Queen of Outer Space :-)
The Clinton Plan “B” was the “Sad Tear drama”, Plan “C” will get drastic and find Willie involved with a campain Aide which leads to the Hildabeast replaying the “STAND BY YOUR MAN” circus act. This stuff needs no Hollywood script writers, the Clintons can do it all by themselves.
I’m with you! And for the same reason, I despise GLAD for demanding to be treated “fairly” or equally because in so doing they are the ones pointing out that they are different. Pretzel logic.
The race card plays both ways. Like the gender card as Hillary played it: “one of the boys” vs. “they’re picking on me ‘cause I’m a girl.”
Pardon the interruption, but what happened to the post of the guy on Youtube saying he partied with Obama doing coke and crack and sex in his limo?
Judging from the way they've pulled out all the stops, they must be receiving really worrisome news from their advisers and pollsters.
A year ago this election cycle was supposed to be a cake-walk for them. But now:
"Start the music track here...from the 1960's it's Steam with "Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Them Goodbye".
My favorite kneeslapper was "Hillary Clinton is the Tonya Harding of politics" (may not be an exact quote).
It don't get no better.
If the Hilldy-Obammy fight does get out of hand and really turns bitter, it could have some effect on the election. Assuming Hilldy gets the nom —and I do assume that— and there is a residue of bitterness, it could tone down the turn out for Black voters. She would still get 90+ per cent, but maybe the gross numbers could be lower. Could impact the result in a really close state, like maybe Fl, Mo, or MI.
I certainly do not discount the prospect that they will make-nice before the convention. He certainly could be the running mate, but there is strong precedent against having two senators on the ticket.
Finally, look for the dirtiest campaign in history come this fall. The media is set to drop any pretense of fairness. The Republican will be attacked every day in newspapers, TV and radio—not just by Hilldy and her minions, but by the media also. Direct attacks without apology. Many of us have lauded the “declining” influence of the MSM, but the MSM has proven over the last six or seven years that they are still powerful if they concentrate attacks relentlessly, continuously, and uniformly. Over time, the MSM can build up a slanted, biased version of facts which become the accepted truth by seeping into the psyche of the ill informed masses. It will happen BIG TIME in this election.
This might be some good entertainment but only for now. Obama might win SC and get a little uptick, but I expect that by Super Tuesday, he will drop out and he’ll be singing praises to Her Royal Thighness and The Great Stainmaker through November, as if their little spat here never happened.
LMAO! The Tonya Harding of Politics! HAHAHAHAHA OMG that HURTS to laugh that hard! LOL LOL LOL
I don’t know who should be more insulted by the comparison! That makes it even funnier! And it came from Democrats! ROTFLMAO Oh so RICH! LMAO
I think you are correct. I wonder how best to counter that ahead of time. LOUD public outcries for BALANCED journalism? Repeat attacks against the perps... oh wait we are already doing that. Well, whats hopeful is the decline in the numbers those institutions are getting. Their numbers are trending DOWN not up and long term, thats a great thing! Long live the Internet! LOL
She'd probably blow the call...
Oh... OUCH! LOL
Yeah, that made my day. If they weren’t Democrats I’d say they could bust the Hollyweird writers strike, that’s top notch stuff.
We’re laughing at all of the supposed “friction/division” among the democrats, but when it comes down to it, in the end, the democrats will all vote for their candidate regardless of who wins the primary, while us conservatives will continue bickering about who’s more liberal: Mitt or McCain. In the end, we will be disappointed with what we have and will stay home during the election day. Winner: a democrat president.
Time will tell, but I hope you’re wrong.
“Assuming Clinton is the nominee Obama is not the VP nominee, I hope the majority of Blacks reject her.”
Wishful thinking regarding Blacks rejecting Hillary. She will have Obama as her running mate to get more of the Black vote. Besides, a majority of Hillary’s follwing want Bubba back at the Whitehouse.
“are going to tenderize the living you know what out of one another, and so far they are making themselves look just horrible”
It’d be pretty durn hard to make Hillary look good! But I love the way you used “tenderize!”
Agreed.
Observation in response to “but there is strong precedent against having two senators on the ticket.”
What is unprecedented is the female and African-American aspect of these two Senators.
It’s more an emotional campaign than a substantive campaign with two Socialist “Changelings” (if you are Sci-Fi aware) representing the hopes of the Leftist MSM, Much of the Globalist TransNational Corporate World, as well the loonies of the “Hate America” crowd.
If we lose the WH bid with a reasonably Conservative Nominee (the true Conservatives have dropped out), then we’d better have made certain we hold onto, or increase our Conservative Representation in Congress.
It might work to the Repubs advantage...Two people running with no experience is even better than one.
It's gonna be about getting out the vote.
It occurs to me that with Hill in the House, Bill will get the Veep’s offices and Obama is gonna get shunted to the Old Ex office Building, just as Hill tried to do to Al in 92.
If I were Barak, I would NOT accept that offer.
