This will help.
Expensive toilet paper....
To make you happy.
Great! Now I can feel better about not buying that rag, and knowing that my actions are denying them 25 cents more!
If you drive by the Boston Globe office you can see the blood running out from under the front door. The Globe, like its parent, The New York Times, is bleeding to death and has sunk to the level of a Marxist club newsletter for the derranged Left. I approve!
And the Globe is denying a report in its sister paper the
Metro (free) that hundreds of job cuts are coming...but the Metro stands by its story.

>>Globe denies layoffs size, confirms rate increase
BOSTON. The Boston Globe has no plans for a staff reduction of the size reported yesterday in Metro, saying they will make staff reductions in accordance with operational efficiencies when and if appropriate, according to a statement released yesterday.
The Globe did confirm it will raise its single copy price in Greater Boston from 50 cents to 75 cents starting Feb. 4 not Feb. 1, as reported yesterday in Metro.
Metro Boston Editor Saul Williams stands by the original report, which cited sources inside and outside the Globe.
LOL!
I walked by a stand with 10 papers in it yesterday - I denied them $5.00.
If I had waited a couple of weeks, I could have denied them $7.50!
One thing I don’t understand is why they would increase their prices if the demand for the paper is dropping. Has their circulation increased at all? If not, they might be making things worse.
I gladly canceled my subscription years ago.
The Internet and town paper were all I needed.
haha.
i cringe when i pay 50 cents for a paper.
looks like the herald may soon get a boost of readership.
