I’ve worked in firms like this. Micro-management to the hilt. Then in staff meetings people were supposed to ‘open up’ with ideas for doing things better .... then silence, complete and utter silence.
I can picture that scene in the article so clearly.

Can you imagine the cabinet meetings or meetings with any presidential advisers. No one will say anything because they know they will be zorched.
These staffers are really dumb. What they should have said was:
"That was a great speech, Hillary"
"You looked beautiful in the snow in New Hampshire, Hillary"
"That red kerchief looked great with your blue pantsuit, Hillary"
"Folks love your latest health care proposal, Hillary"
All married men understand this.
I wonder if any are on her staff.

Ive never seen a campaign where everyone feels so bad about themselves,
Why does this come as a surprise? I thought this was the necessary emotional disposition which allowed one to support socialism. "I hate myself. I hate my country. Those people are better/happier/wealthier/smarter/more attractive. The world isn't fair, the government should do something about it, vote for Clinton." I wouldn't expect her staffers to be a happy lot...

"The staffer deemed most likely to be replaced after Iowa was Penn, according to Cottle.
The reasons are legion: his high profile; his right-of-center politics; his myopic focus on issues; his dismissal of the need for Hillary to....
We've all seen this before and are well aware of the process.

Ive never seen a campaign where everyone feels so bad about themselves, says one campaign staffer, echoing others.Of course feeling bad about yourself, to a lib, is the worst torture imaginable.

Well, there's always the Reichstag Fire option.
Maybe a little premature.

An angry Hillary finally snarled: This has been very helpful talking to myself and hung up. Note to Hillie: Way to go, girl. Shoot the messengers. Snort. That's what you get for surrounding yourself with sycophants...

Hillary would be difficult to work for when she’s winning easily. I can’t imagine how unpleasant she could be after losing.

I wish Hillary would quit running for President and get a real job making something useful...specifically, making license plates.

Truly unimaginable and absolutely unbearable. The first thing to go in the garbage in the event of a Hillary Presidency would be the TV - Couldn’t endure the inevitable coverage of her mug. It’s hard enough to avoid now but then it would be impossible - Akin to a 1984 type of thing where an oppressive, dark force is afoot everywhere.

How’d ya like to be the intern who draws the short straw to give her the latest poll numbers in SC.
Youthful voice cracking, “scuse me Senator Clinton, I have those new poll numbers you wanted....”
