Rightist EU politicians plan new party

By ASSOCIATED PRESS

Far-right politicians from four EU nations have announced plans to form a pan-European "patriotic" party, the BBC reported on Saturday.

The leader of far-right parties from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria and France said their aim was to defend Europe against "Islamisation" and immigrants.

At a news conference in Vienna, they said they planned to launch the party by November 15.

In Vienna, the heads of Austria's Freedom Party, Belgium's Vlaams Belang, Bulgaria's Ataka and the French National Front said the new party would be a counter-balance to other political forces in Europe, the BBC reported.

"We say: Patriots of all the countries of Europe, unite! Because only together will we solve our problems," Freedom Party leader Heinz-Christian Strache said.

"Irresponsible mass immigration to Europe from outside Europe due to irresponsible politicians... is the problem," he said.

Asked about the likelihood of the new party's success, French National Front leader Jean-Marie Le Pen said: "It's not necessary to hope in order to try."

The far-right leaders require the support from seven EU parties to launch the group, but Strache said that the goal was to have "more than 10 parties as members and ideally one party from each EU country".

The new party has no name yet, but Strache said European Patriotic Party or European Freedom Party were working titles.

Austria's governing Social Democrats condemned the plan saying the proposed political party was absurd and contradictory, the BBC reported.

When a rubber band gets stretched far enough, it snaps. Our own leaders (/s) should take note.

You mean there are real men in Europe who won't give up their countries and their childrens' future without a fight???? Our "leaders" in Washington had better take note.

Screw "Our Leaders". I'm ready for a new batch of leaders.

If (and when) somebody starts The Conservative Party here in the good ol' U.S of A, that's where I will start sending my money.

We should form the Conservative Patriot Party here in the USA. Then work to defeat the enemy within, the RINOcrat Socialist Party and the Marxist's People's Dimocratic Homosexual Abortion Party.

This is a natural offshoot of trying to build one nation out of many states. The EU is deciding law and economic policies across the states, so why can’t there be a party that spans the EU?

I think the “right” in Europe isn’t necessarily a laissez faire Conservative party.

This is sad enough that I’m thinking about getting into politics. I don’t know the first thing about it.

Which is why I’m thinking of it. :)

We need more of this kind of thinking from our leaders.

It will spread like wildfire if the females of Europe become attracted to it. It will certainly spread to more nations that the original four in no time.

The movement will really start rolling if the political opposition to it makes big mistakes by putting ugly people with huge ethics problems out in front to denounce it. They'll practically be recruiting for the new Euro nationalist movement every time they open their filthy mouths.

I could make a lot of other predictions here, but I don't think that I will. Let's just say that I think we've seen this movie before.

Yes...

the first move I would make is to redefine the lexicon that liberals have hijacked just so that the average person would be able to understand my future communications.

DE-code the gibberish, for instance:

I’m anti-infanticide.

I’m pre-liberation of Iraq.

I’m anti-terrorism.

Pro-capitalism.

Anti-socialism.

Pro-offense.

The dept of defense needs to be renamed. It used to be the war dept, and I wouldn’t go quite that far, but I’d let the world know we’re not about defense and waiting around to be attacked either.

I’m pro-American Christian culture.

Not only is it not just a border issue but from within we need to preserve our culture! So of course border security but right away English would be the offical language. I would completely eliminate phone recordings in Spanish, or at the very least put English FIRST on the prompts, not second. And then phase Spanish out. Germans French Vietnamese Chinese Russians don’t have these prompts and special considerations and do JUST FINE!

Just for starters and move on from that point forward...

The liberals will call them fascist just because they are nationalistic and against Islamists.

I have been down the third party route with both the Libertarian Party and the Constitution Party and have come to the conclusion that it is a dead end. If we can not move a major party to the right during its primaries, how on earth are we going to move the whole country to the right in the general election with a third party. The left has shown us the way if we want to take time to learn from their approach. They did not try and pump up the Green Party, or some other third party, they moved the Democratic Party leftward from within that party. In doing so, they were willing to fore go short term political victories to achieve the long term goal of steering the party in the direction they wanted. (The defeat of Joe Lieberman in the Democratic Primary is a prime example)

One brick at a time from the ground up. It will take time and patience, but it is the best way to go.

I think its far wrong to use the label “far right” against people who are sick and tired of the maniacal workings of the Islambies!

As long as the actions are defensive and don’t become egregiously offensive no one should blame any individual for standing against evil.

I've always been one to learn from my own mistakes. I did it with drugs, alcohol, and women. The only thing left is politics.

If political leaders had that attitude in 1854, we would be talking about who should be the 2008 Whig candidate for president.

I ain’t worried about them. I am worried about us. The RINOcrap party has lost its soul and sold out to socialism. We need to form our own party. To serve conservatives. Otherwise, we will no longer have a voice. That is the point I am trying to make.
