More of our tax dollars are needed to support the U’s latest “higher education” project.

intramural rugby match?Did the author mean to concede that women's club rugby is synonymous with "lesbian"? At least there's an admission.

Minnesota ping, though not one you’ll want to brag about.

It sounds like this reporter ALMOST disapproves of Kinky U, but fears it might be too judgmental to actually say so.
At most, she suggests that this may not be the most cost effective way to spend the university’s scarce funds. And it might even possibly offend some of the parents if they were to find out about it.
Goodness, we can’t have that.

It's just another field of inquiry for the dedicated scholars at "Kinky U," a student fee-supported. offshoot of the U of M's Queer Student Cultural Center (QSCC). This is my greatest gripe with the way colleges are run. Student fees paid by every student support the continued perversion of our nations culture. These fees are non-voluntary. If you or your kid wants to go to this school you have no choice but to pay for this obscenity.

Maybe the U could apply for a program-funding grant from some of the Twin Cities' liberated mainline denominations, who are also pretty adept at semantic subterfuge.
Some may be surprised to learn that this is the sort of knowledge the university is helping to disseminate, especially because it is apparently always short of resources. But they shouldn't be surprised.
At the U, as in much of academe, the language of "health and safety" has hijacked our old vocabulary of right and wrong.

Katherine Kersten is the newspaper’s only bona fide conservative columnist; she’s using a little gentle sarcasm.

Ah. So it's a swinger's club.
Most schools support these anyway, they just call them frats/sororities.

Where is Harold Stassen? He was such a nice man and the people up there were so much better behaved when Harold was there.

Maybe the state legislators, who are asked to apportion funds for the university, will remember this program when the U comes hat in hand.

(for "bisexuals, pansexuals, omnnisexuals, and those who prefer no labels")Pansexuals? Is that like people who only have sex in the kitchen?
What a bunch of self-absorbed freaks.

"Biversity" (for "bisexuals, pansexuals, omnnisexuals, and those who prefer no labels") to "Tranarchy" (for "those who identify as transgender, transsexual, genderqueer, intersex, or gender diverse.")everybody's a specialist these days... back in the day they were all just classified as perverts!!!

Maybe the state legislators, who are asked to apportion funds for the university, will remember this program when the U comes hat in hand.Though you probably meant this in a sarcastic manner, since the Dems control the legislature, it really wouldn't surprise me if they actually did remember it... in a favorable way.
