Fla’s 27 delegates but don’t hold me to it. That’s a guestimate.

VERY interesting ...! I think it
might be Joseph Kennedy II, though.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/11/20/AR2006112001341.html

The Clintons, especially HIM, have
gone a tad too far with their race
baiting and underhanded dirtiness.
Surprising to hear that the MSM are
ticked at it. I know I am .Wonder if
the The Cabal will actually have the
guts to do it. Thank you! Time will
tell ... then the Clintons are always
armed with ample weaponry ...

So this morning I read in PR Week that WPP has also acquired the Dewey Square Group, a very well-known Democratic firm that does grassroots, public affairs, and communications, for a mix of corporate and campaign clients.

PR Week says it was announced last Thursday the 17th, so I’m sort of scratching my head that it wasn’t mentioned in Birnbaum’s column.

Anyway, Dewey Square is home to such Democratic campaign vets as Kiki McLean, Minyon Moore, and Michael Whouley, whom the press can’t seem to write about without calling him “reclusive” and “press-shy.”

Some people don’t like Romney because he is too “perfect.” That photo is just another example of his “perfection” to the looking-for-a-problem crowd.

Brit’s title is something like “managing director of the news”, I think he must have moved into her position. But Murdoch has put libs in senior positions in the corporate rooms, and the word seems to have gone out to be Hillary-friendly.

Just look at any photo that accompanies a piece mentioning her name, and compare it to any photo accompanying a (rare) item mentioning President Bush, for example.

I rarely turn that channel on except for Sunday morning, and it used to be on all day long when I am at home.

I’m late to this thread tonight....been a busy day...have a question maybe you or somebody can answer. Did Fred ever hold a press conference to announce his withdrawal from the race? I know a statement was released by his campaign but never heard of anything publicly. If not, I find that very curious.

Tell all your friends who haven’t yet voted in Floriduh! Mitt’s got the momentum now! He has judged what he needed to do so much better than Giuliani did - it’s just one more example of Romney’s ability to assess a situation, to plan, and to execute the plan.

I am very encouraged by the momentum.

My friends can’t stand Crist, Martinez or McCain. People say Mitt’s grown on them. It took me a couple of debates and I heard/watched his religion speech n tv. That was excellent.

Latest Fox radio news says Mitt and Mc are tied. That probably means Mitt’s ahead.

The anti-Mitt threads are not as prevalent as the anti-McCain threads which go further back in time.

Hmmmm....

IMO, the RAT party knows she has too many negatives. The #1 political problem for her is the secret donor list on the Arkansas library.

Saudi Arabia is on that list. The Clintons were going to dwarf Patrick's little venture with Hugo Chavez.

Popcorn anyone?

Well after this weekend I think Obama photos may be going up as well. We shall see. FNC has not increased its viewer share lately, mainly because they are becoming part of the MSM pack. That is a shame. Another little fortune could be made catering to the middle right.

It’s funny when I talk about media bias with friends they think I’m nuts until I bring up abortion as an example. I ask them what would happen to the national debate if MSM framed the issue with video of a live abortions, pictures of aborted babies and then asked the question about “choice”. All of a sudden the room falls silent and they understand the MSM’s practice of the art of omission. One must always ask what pertinent piece of information is the MSM omitting? It is obvious we haven’t had a good and thorough news network in decades.

In the same vain of the Weeklystandard article here is Condi Rice's speech in Davos and Jay Nordlinger's commentary of the speech. Both are excellent. They are very worth while reads IMHO. Condi did this nation proud.

http://www.state.gov/secretary/rm/2008/01/99624.htm

http://article.nationalreview.com/?q=MWE3MGEwMjZhYTQyMzQ3YWIzMWZkZDRhNWQyYTc5MTk=&w=MA==

(go down to the bottom of page one)

"......The overflowing audience — many are forced to stand, lining the walls — listens with quiet and respect. When Rice’s name was first mentioned, someone nearby me hissed. But, thereafter, no such demonstrations. And Rice gives an excellent speech. I agree with nearly every word of it, but that is not my point (quite). It is, plain and simple, an excellent speech: bracing, stirring, a tonic, something needed. Something that really hits the spot.

I will do some extensive quoting of the speech, and a little commenting. Rice says that, in thinking about her speech for this audience, “I decided to do something risky: I want to talk about the importance of ideals and I want to talk about the need for optimism [about] their power.

“Now, I know that whenever Americans start talking about idealism and optimism, international audiences groan.” I hear some appreciative chuckles. “Perhaps there is a little concern that you’re going to hear a long, moralizing lecture. Well, I promise not to do that.” And she doesn’t, unfortunately. (Just kidding.) (Mainly.)

“And another common concern when Americans talk of idealism and optimism is, ‘Well, there they go again,’ the innocents abroad. Indeed, there is a long international tradition of viewing America as kind of young and naïve. Well, in our defense, I would just say we’re not that young. And if you are tempted to think that we are naïve, then you should hope that Bismarck was right when he said, ‘God has a special providence for fools, drunks, and the United States of America.’”

......and it gets much better. Folks the speech and Jay's comments are worth a read.

Just in case you don't read the above links....here are Jay's last paragraph regarding Condi's speech.

"....Some time later, I’m sitting in a café, overhearing a conversation between an East Asian lady and an American man. I’m not eavesdropping; it just can’t be helped. The lady is saying how much she admired Rice’s speech. She also says that it was a brave one, given the dislike of America throughout the world. It was obvious, she says, that Rice had pride in being an American. And the man answers with his own reaction to the speech: “It made me proud to be an American.”

I have not heard that phrase in a long, long while — I mean, without irony. And the man uttered it without any irony at all. The secretary of state’s address had simply made him proud to be an American. Will wonders never cease?
