American history is not all just glory and pride LETTER TO THE EDITOR

Potomac News Sunday, January 27, 2008

Many believe that American history is all about glory and pride, but the government has to sugarcoat and delete the shameful events out of our children's history books for that to be believable. But just because it's not in their biased schoolbooks doesn't mean it didn't happen. Slavery has been a necessity since America was founded. Africans were stolen from their homes and forced to work for free. Today, according to U.S. law, slavery is abolished, but those jobs still need to be filled and modern day slavery continues. Hispanics are willing to fill that void, but many refuse to recognize their hard work. Most of those fruits you eat have to be handpicked, so wash it well because an illegal Mexican most likely picked it.

I understand not everybody sees the things I do, since many people block out the truth. American history is not up to anybody to believe it for it to be true. Some don't believe that Americans invaded Mexican land. The Mexican government invited Americans to settle in Texas. Many appreciated the opportunity, while others took Mexico's kindness for weakness and resorted to violence. They ask to remember the Alamo, but remember that Mexico won that battle.

The U.S. took Mexican land (modern day California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah and Wyoming) and gave Mexico another low blow. Without the Compromise of 1850, the U.S. wouldn't be half of what it is today.

To get statistics correct, first figure out how many "illegals" receive services. Even the most educated guesses from Harvard are still only estimates. Most illegal immigrants aren't risking leaving their families and lives to come be unemployed. Nothing is handed to us and refusing to give "illegals" services just makes them have to work harder. Most illegal immigrants ask for nothing else than a chance to work.

I ask how they say Mexicans don't make the U.S. money, since tax is deducted from their paychecks, too. The U.S. government still receives that money. Many Americans have seized the opportunity and have made countless dollars by choosing Mexican labor.

We prefer to give the lazy American living off unemployment checks that doesn't file taxes preference over a hard working, tax paying illegal. It's like being against abortion, but being in favor of the death penalty. That's your hypocritical logic, Mr. Lauer, and I do not agree with you, either.

The “Compromise of 1850”? Let’s up he knows more of Mexican history than US history.

More Americans killed by illegal aliens than Iraq war, study says

When you start digging into the numbers the only ones that can be sourced with the feds are the number of American murdered in 2005: 16692
I have seen federal numbers for illegals held in jail ranging from 19.3% to 27% of the federal prison population.

Here's a sampling of USA cities wanted for murder. What you'll see is that in big USA cities like LA or NYC most of the murderers are Hispanic. Unknown are the % of illegals. In smaller cities the FBI will post the nationalities of the murderers. About 25% of the most wanted are illegals wanted for murder. This number agrees with the percentage of illegals incarcerated in federal prisons. +-25%

Pictures of top 10 most wanted in LA. Up until recent stories about crime in LA posted by the LA Times--the pictures included the nationality of the murderers. They were all foreign nationals and mostly Mexican.

Wanted for Murder in New York City.

Chicago wanted for Murder

Philadelphia wanted for murder

San Francisco wanted for Murder

New Orleans wanted for Murder

Pictures of suspects wanted for murder in Washington DC

FBI USA 10 most wanted. (two of 10 are Mexican nationals)

There are currently no exact numbers on the number of Americans killed by illegals. Part of the reason is that the government deliberately obscures the number. I talked on the phone with the head of statistics for the US Bureau of Prisons. He said his office wasn't allowed to publish the number of illegal alien murderers. Rather they were forced to put legal and non legal residents in the same category. I talked to ICE. They put out detailed numbers on illegal child molestors. However, they put out nothing on illegal murderers.

Part of the reason for the silence on the matter is that there is evidence to suggest that most Americans being killed by illegals are black--as is the suggestion in this LA Times Article. Also this article from the LA Times. And here. This makes intuitive sense. We see stories regularly of drug gang killings in Mexico but we don't see those same stories in the USA. The reason we don't see those stories is not because its not happening. Rather we don't see the stories about illegals killing blacks because that kind of story is terribly politically incorrect. The populations being displaced in downtown sanctuary cities especially are American blacks. That means that their criminal elements would be pushed aside by Mexican gangs as well. That's also the story that the wanted for murder posters in all the major cities seems to suggest.

Nevertheless, the pattern of non reporting is starting to break. Discovery Channel has a series called Gangland that mentions ethnic cleasing of blacks by Mexican gangs

To look at other USA cities go here http://stlouis.fbi.gov/ and replace stlouis with the city you want.

All that said the true number of criminal aliens is far higher than is revealed by criminal aliens in prisons. Most are simply waived through the courts.DHS Secretary Chertoff, has been quoted as warning that two million people in this country illegally have committed serious crimes. See also here and here

Dear Mr. RUBEN PINEDA,

Really? Well, Mr. Reconquista, show me yours and I’ll show you mine.

Mexicans illegally in this country had no ancestors who lived in these United States. I’ve offered the challenge to hundreds of them. The handful of Mexicans who lived here when the US bought that land from Mexico left no descendants in Mexico, especially the southern area and Central America where most illegals now come from. NO, they became AMERICANS. Their progeny are citizens.

This country is sacred land to we NATIVE born citizens, most of us with long historical ancestry. We don’t take lightly being told we don’t belong here, but you invaders have the right.

I have family who pioneered, built and died defending this country, many were indigenous as you claim to be, buried in Massachusetts, New York, Washington DC, Virginia, Ohio, Missouri, Georgia, Arkansas,Tennessee, Oklahoma Indian Territory, Texas, Kansas, Oregon, California, Arizona, New Mexico, South Carolina, North Carolina, Utah. There are a couple buried in Mexico.

Now, show me yours. Where do your ancestors rest?

Know this, we will protect this sacred ground. There are millions more of us than you and you can’t have enough anchor babies to change it before my fellow Americans get enough of your “attitude”. Go back to the third world you wish to impose on us and take your dream of colonizing my country with you. The sooner the better.

A NATIVE American

What if 20 Million

Illegal Aliens Vacated America?
Read...if interested..and consider . . . . . .(your choice)
=============================

Just in case all the news on our "robust" economy isn't enough for you...

I found myself half-way through this piece beginning to seriously doubt the facts and figures.however, as you will see, the author lists his references at the end!

What if 20 Million Illegal Aliens Vacated America?

Tina Griego, journalist for the Denver Rocky Mountain News wrote a column titled, "Mexican Visitor's Lament" -- 10/25/07.

She interviewed Mexican journalist Evangelina Hernandez while visiting Denver last week. Hernandez said, "They (illegal aliens) pay rent, buy groceries, buy clothes...What Happens to your country's economy if 20 million people go away?" That's a good question - it deserves an answer.
Over 80 percent of Americans demand secured borders and illegal migration stopped. But what would happen if all 20 million or more vacated America?
The answers may surprise you!

In California
,
if 3.5 million illegal aliens moved back to Mexico, it would leave an extra $10.2 billion to spend on over-loaded school systems, bankrupt hospitals and overrun prisons. It would leave highways cleaner, safer and less congested. Everyone could understand one another as English became the dominant language again.

In Colorado, 500,000 illegal migrants, plus their 300,000 kids and grand-kids - would move back 'home', mostly to Mexico. That would save Coloradans an estimated $2 billion (other experts say $7 billion) annually in taxes that pay for schooling, medical, social-services and incarceration costs. It means 12,000 gang members would vanish out of Denver alone.

Colorado would save more than $20 million in prison costs, and the terror that those 7,300 alien criminals set upon local citizens. Denver Officer Don Young and hundreds of Colorado victims would not have suffered death, accidents, rapes and other crimes by illegals.

Denver Public Schools would not suffer a 67 percent drop-out/flunk-out rate because of thousands of illegal alien students speaking 41 different languages. At least 200,000 vehicles would vanish from our gridlocked cities in Colorado.

Denver's four percent unemployment rate would vanish as our working poor would gain jobs at a living wage.

In Florida, 1.5 million illegals would return the Sunshine State back to America, the rule of law, and English.

In Chicago, Illinois, 2.1 million illegals would free up hospitals, schools, prisons and highways for a safer, cleaner and more crime-free experience.

If 20 million illegal aliens returned 'home' --

If 20 million illegal aliens returned 'home', the U.S. Economy would return to the rule of law. Employers would hire legal American citizens at a living wage. Everyone would pay their fair share of taxes because they wouldn't be working off the books. That would result in an additional $401 Billion in IRS income taxes collected annually, and an equal amount for local, state and city coffers.

No more push '1' for Spanish or '2' for English. No more confusion in American schools that now must contend with over 100 languages that degrade the educational system for American kids. Our overcrowded schools would lose more than two million illegal alien kids at a cost of billions in ESL and free breakfasts and lunches.

We would lose 500,000 illegal criminal alien inmates at a cost of more than $1.6 billion annually. That includes 15,000 MS-13 gang members who distribute $130 billion in drugs annually would vacate our country.

America's economy is drained. Taxpayers are harmed. Employers get rich. Over $80 billion annually wouldn't return to the aliens' home countries by cash transfers Illegal migrants earned half that money untaxed, which further drains America's economy - which currently suffers an $8.7 trillion debt.

At least 400,000 anchor babies would not be born in our country, costing us $109 billion per year per cycle. At least 86 hospitals in California, Georgia and Florida would still be operating instead of being bankrupt out of existence because illegals pay nothing via the EMTOLA Act.

Americans wouldn't suffer thousands of TB and hepatitis cases rampant in our country-brought in by illegals unscreened at our borders.

Our cities would see 20 million less people driving, polluting and grid locking our cities. It would also put the 'progressives' on the horns of a dilemma; illegal aliens and their families cause 11 percent of our greenhouse gases.

Over one million of Mexico's poorest citizens now live inside and along our border from Brownsville, Texas to San Diego, California in what the New York Times called, "colonias" or new neighborhoods. Trouble is, those living areas resemble Bombay and Calcutta where grinding poverty, filth, diseases, drugs, crimes, no sanitation and worse. They live without sewage, clean water, streets, electricity, roads or any kind of sanitation.

The New York Times reported them to be America's new "Third World" inside our own country. Within 20 years, at their current growth rate, they expect 20 million residents of those colonias. (I've seen them personally in Texas and Arizona; it's sickening beyond anything you can imagine.) By enforcing our laws, we could repatriate them back to Mexico.

We should invite 20 million aliens to go home, fix their own countries and/or make a better life in Mexico. We already invite a million people into our country legally more than all other countries combined annually. We cannot and must not allow anarchy at our borders, more anarchy within our borders and growing lawlessness at every level in our nation. It's time to stand up for our country, our culture, our civilization and our way of life.

Interesting Statistics.  Here are 14 reasons illegal aliens should vacate America, and I hope they are forwarded over and over again until they are read so many times that the reader gets sick of reading them:

        1. $11 billion to $22 billion dollars are spent each year on welfare to illegal aliens.

        2. $2.2 billion dollars are spent each year on food assistance
programs such as food stamps, WIC, and free school lunches for illegal aliens.

        3. $2.5 billion dollars are spent each year on Medicaid for illegal
aliens.

        4. $12 billion dollars are spent each year on primary and secondary school education for children here illegally and they cannot speak a word of English!  http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.01.html  http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.01.html

        5. $17 billion dollars are spent each year for education for the American-
born children of illegal aliens, known as anchor babies.
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.01.html

        6. $3 Million Dollars PER DAY is spent to incarcerate illegal aliens. http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.01.html

        7. 30% percent of all federal prison inmates are illegal aliens.
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.01.html

        8. $90 billion dollars are spent each year on illegal aliens for welfare & social services by the American taxpayers.
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0610/29/ldt.01.html

        9. $200 billion dollars per year in suppressed American wages are caused by the illegal aliens.
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.01.html

        10. The illegal aliens in the United States have a crime rate that's two and a half times that of white non-illegal aliens. In particular, their children, are going to make a huge additional crime problem in the US.
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0606/12/ldt.01.html

        11. During the year 2005, there were 4 to 10 MILLION illegal aliens that crossed our southern border with as many as 19,500 illegal aliens from terrorist countries. Millions of pounds of drugs, cocaine, meth, heroine,
and marijuana crossed into the U.S. from the southern border.
http://tinyurl.com/t9sht

        12. The National Policy Institute, estimates that the total cost of mass deportation would be between $206 and $230 billion, or an average cost of between $41 and $46 billion annually over a five year period.
http://www.nationalpolicyinstitute.org/publications.php?b=deportation  <http://www.nationalpolicyinstitute.org/publications.php?b=deportation>

        13. In 2006, illegal aliens sent home $45 BILLION in remittances back to their countries of origin.
http://www.rense.com/general75/niht.htm

        14. The dark side of illegal immigration: Nearly one million sex
crimes are committed by illegal immigrants in the United States!"
http://www.drdsk.com/articleshtml <http://www.drdsk.com/articles.html>

The total cost is a whopping $338.3 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR!!!

Does anyone, including this pendejo, really believe that the Southwest, Texas and California would be anything other than a huge, disfunctional, Mexican hell hole, a la Tijuana, if it still belonged to Mexico?

Exactly. I confront these guys with "In 1847, the land on each side of the border for hundreds of miles looked exactly the same. We turned our part into a generator of wealth and prosperity. What the Hell did you do with the land we let you keep?" That's when they resort to "Racist!" and walk off.

It wouldn't be any different today. There's a joke circulating that if Mexico took over all the states except North Dakota, in 10 years ND would have an illegal immigration problem.

The availability of dirt-cheap illegal Mexican peasant labor is actually retarding advances in mechanization in agriculture that other countries are using, and in the long-run substantially hindering our productivity.

In other areas, like construction, illegals are crowding out native-born workers.

Yes, the price of lettuce and new construction is lower than would be the case without the cheap illegal labor force, but that's only because the total cost of the workforce has been shifted onto others.

The illegals pay little in taxes, send much of their earnings out of the country, and live in a welfare state where they are adding huge burdens to the cost of public schools, prisons (and the entire criminal justice system), health care (hospital emergency rooms must treat them even though they cannot pay, or cannot pay at the same rate Americans must pay). We all know that eventually the illegals will be given some form of amnesty and the eventual social security burden of this vast group of low-wage earners will ultimately be the final burden that sinks that program.

The biggest problem is that unlike past immigrant groups, the second and third generation are not graduating from high school and moving up the economic ladder, and since they are not as willing to clean hotel rooms or pick lettuce, we see increases in gang membership, single teenage mothers and large new additions to the underclass. And of course, businesses utilizing cheap illegal labor will need to import even more of it because the following generations do not want to do that work, thus the whole cycle spirals out of control, and larger and larger swaths of society will begin to resemble third-world societies, with a caste of well-educated elites and the native-born middle class becoming divided between those joining the elites in their gated communities and those pulled down into the lowest caste.

Cool! LOL, that’s a switch. Sam Houston promised them the 3 counties they had settled for their alliance and protection. When Texas joined the Union, the Feds said...NO way!! Get out Injuns! My grgrfather fortunately had legal title to his plantation, Mt.Tabor and was allowed to stay, many of them buried in there.

The Mexicans revolted against Spain in 1821, whose King held legal title. So, the US stole what the Mexicans stole and held for only 27 years and the Spanish stole form the Aztecs and many other tribes, but they held it for 300 years. Of course, the Aztecs, according to legend, started up in New Mexico or Arizona somewhere, headed south until they saw an eagle eating a snake on a cactus at what is now Mexico City and built their holy city of Tenochtitlan. They then proceeded to subdue the surrounding tribes and send 20,000 of them at a time to Aztec heaven via human sacrifice.

It's a sad fact that in human history, you own what you can hold. The Aztecs couldn't hold it. The Spanish couldn't hold it. The Mexicos couldn't hold it and signed a treaty to that effect giving up all claims. Americans are holding it, until someone takes it away. If Mexico and Mexicans want to take it away, it'll mean war and trial by arms. Learn it, love it, live it.

Oh, the idea that the government covers up the ugly parts of American history is full of it. The schools don't teach the noble parts and spend inordinate amounts of time on the rest. The schools are drowning in pc-leftwing-diversity mongering. Luckily the kids don't pay much attention to it.

You can't beat apathy with a stick.

Don’t forget that the Mexican-American War started when Mexico refused to honor a treaty signed by a previous Mexican government, refused to negotiate, and then overran a U.S. Army post in an attempt to forcibly redraw the border. The U.S. was very nice in actually paying the Mexican government for the land we took after we kicked their butts. Don’t ever fall for the “we stole the land from the Mexicans” revision of history.

Actually this country owes it's greatness to an amazing Constitution and Bill of Rights. Otherwise we would be just like Mexico or worse. Don't kid yourself.
