Amnesty John: Would STILL Sign McCain-Kennedy! (with video)
PoliPundit ^ | January 27th, 2008 | Michael 'A.J. Sparxx' Illions

Posted on 01/27/2008 12:51:07 PM PST by 2ndDivisionVet

Less then a week after saying he has heard the American people regarding illegal immigration and their opposition to the McCain-Kennedy Pro-Amnesty bill, John McCain would still SIGN THE BILL into law if he was President and it came across his desk:

(VIDEO)

This explains his receiving the endorsement of fellow Pro-Amnestians, Senator Mel Martinez, (who almost single-handedly bankrupted the RNC with his support of the bill), the NY Times, Florida Governor Charlie Crist and of the Mexico-first pro-amnesty open borders advocate Dr. Juan Hernandez.

“My friends", let me give you some “straight talk", a vote for John McCain is a vote against our National Sovereignty.

This is why Queeg has to lose because if he doesn't we'll never hear the end of it from the amnesty pushers of how he has a mandate. With Romney taking a more hard line approach they won't be able to say the same thing and any more amnesty attempts will be easier to fight against and win.

This is not true. He did say he had heard the pople and that as president he would secure the border first and by inuendo, made it clear he would then push his previous plan. He never said that he heard opposition to his plan, just that folks wanted the border secured first. This, however, we know is untrue also. The majority didn't want his plan whether he secured the border first or not.

I was listening just days ago to Jeff Katz (1110 Am WBT)(http://jeffkatz.wbt.com/) in SC interviewing McCain. McCain is STILL insisting on his comprehensive amnesty and plainly said WE don’t know what we’re talking about and that MOST people and ALL experts want the plan he’s been pushing.

BTW, MCCAIN CALLED IT AMNESTY before the American public put him in his place.

McCain called plan ‘AMNESTY’ in 2003

http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=59567

But in a May 28, 2003, press conference in Tucson, the Arizona senator said Congress should pass a guest-worker program that includes “amnesty” for illegal workers in the U.S.

“I think we can set up a program where amnesty is extended to a certain number of people,” McCain said. “Amnesty has to be an important part, because there are people who have lived in this country for 20, 30 or 40 years, who have raised children here and pay taxes here and are not citizens.”

“He used the word,” noted GOP rival Gov. Mitt Romney during the Fox debate, referring to amnesty.

“[Expletive] you! I know more about this than anyone else in the room,” shouted McCain at Cornyn.

This is McCains Achilles tendon. I have noticed how he is trying to make the war in Iraq and terrorism the only issues of this campaign. With Hunter, Tancredo and Thompson out of the race, and Giuliani, Huckabee, and Romney having questionable positions or credentials on illegal immigration and border security, only Ron Paul remains as a thorn in their sides to occasionally bring the issue of illegal immigration to the surface. I’m certain all the major candidates would like to have Paul out of the race so this issue could slip quietly from the debates.

Oh yeah, and so no one forgets, McCain is onboard Al Gore’s “Global Warming Express”. He touts how he played a large role in pushing carbon credits legislation through the Senate. So, add his position on global warming to his position on amnesty for illegal aliens. Visit his site for more on his global warming stance:

“he has been a leader on the issue of global warming”. http://www.johnmccain.com/Informing/Issues/65bd0fbe-737b-4851-a7e7-d9a37cb278db.htm

PING for TRUTH.

MCCAIN is still for McCain-Kennedy. the Z visas. The manesty for 12 million or more illegal aliens. The “comprehensive destroy the GOP and America with it” bill.

That completely and utterly seals it - we CANNOT let this man be the nominee.

THIS IS A DEFCON 1 ALERT. Stop McCain at all costs in all primaries. if you called the Congress last June, do your part NOW to stop amnesty by stopping proamnesty-proCO2caps-CFR-nannystate-RINO John McCain.

The bullet left in our holster is Mitt Romney, who came out forcefully against the Z visa, against amnesty and for a secure border, employer verification and tough approach (no sanctuary cities). That’s why Tancredo endorsed him.

Stop John McCain. Mitt Romney for President.

This is a guy who is proudly displaying an NYT endorsement like it was a big-game trophy. He has no clue what the Republican base is thinking.

None are so blind as those who will not see. And none are so blind as those who are guided solely by their own egos.

By McCain's logic, what he thinks is the only thing that counts. Anybody who thinks otherwise is automatically wrong and doesn't count (if not, somehow, evil).

Just one more reason why this man has no business being President.

It is not a low blow and not out of line! He exploits his Ex-POW status every chance he gets and basks in the limelight of being called a HERO. He survived a very bad ordeal but he is no HERO for doing so. Can you name one, just one, other Vietnam era POW who survived off the top of your head? I did not think so.

That's the scary thing about McCain. It's not so much that he gets marching orders from someone. He just finds some stupid cause to champion, then launched into an obsessive-compulsive, near-suicidal crusade to make it happen, against all better judgement.

He's known as McQueeg (from the Caine Mutiny) but his personality is more like Captain Ahab from Moby Dick, driven against reason by personal maniacal crusades, and bringing everyone else around him to doom.

Darn shame. Policy-wise, he is very strong on Iraq, the WOT and on federal spending - 3 key issues in my mind. But his leadership style is not that of a good commander-in-chief or chief executive - it is that of a deranged, destructive tyrant.

Lets see....

A Nation at war that responds by going shopping

Every News cycle leads with the newest missing white woman

A actor dies and the networks show continuous 24 hour coverage of a dead guys apartment.

The media constantly drives the discussions to "when are these guys leaving" and not a vote has been counted

They proclaim the most defeatable , insane man as "most electable"

A nation with zero attention span then votes

....thats what happened.
