Ann Coulter is not giving a speech. I’m shocked and disappointed.
no. She’ll be speaking at a luncheon at CPAC that YAF or Leadership Institute is sponsoring
And that is not open to all CPAC attendees.....
I don’t know. You’ll need to call and ask.

I was thinkig the same thing. How could they not invite Annie.
Nah...Ann will be there and will talk to lots of folks...she is still a star. I don’t think that it is a bad thing to try ad showcase a variety of people so that the movement can continue to grow and influence more people. I happen to like the snarky sassy Ann....
For goodness sake...the Godfather and Hannity aren’t speaking either if they even attend at all.
How in their right mind can the organizers invite Gov. Rick Perry to be a speaker?
Inviting Gov. Rick Perry sends a signal that CPAC is giving full faith and support to the KELO V. NEW LONDON travesty and supports Perry’s despicable marionette parade show and imminent domain confiscation in the Trans Texas corridor swindle.
I’d like to know why Joe Scarborough is to introduce the keynote speaker at the Thurs. banquet. Since when is he a conservative?? It does not specify that Vice President Cheney is the speaker that night. I have not bought a ticket but wonder if I should if they are still available since it would be great to hear Mr Cheney speak.
Overall it looks like a good program. I just hope I can get into the ballroom. Last year it was so packed. The Omni Shoreham hotel really is not big enough to host that large of a gathering.
CPAC will be held following Super Duper Tuesday Feb. 5.
There is no love lost between John McCain and David Keene. CPAC is going to be very interesting this year.

Thanks for the ping, NautiNurse. I admit my knee-jerk reaction to this is that I don't like this, but I will study the agenda when I have more time later. And I know the ACU constantly tweaks the agenda up 'til the last minute.
No VP Cheney? No Ann Coulter? Joe Scarborough the RINO sellout will be a speaker at one of the banquets? Huh...?
I was going to ping you to this thread, but I see you’re already here. Keep checking the CPAC agenda page, as the ACU constantly changes and tweaks it, up until the last minute...
Did you read in John Fund’s column that McCain has indeed been invited to speak at the conference?! Last year he turned them down. No wonder he is so unpopular with the movement. If he is indeed the leader and strong willed character he says he is, he should confront the critics and come to DC to address the crowd.
Fred Barnes announced on Brit Hume’s “Special Report” that McCain WILL be at CPAC next week. OH boy... should be interesting, to say the least.
Oh my...McCain decided that maybe conservatives do matter in a Presidential election. A novel concept.
That is interesting news. I would like to hear what he has to say, though I suppose I won’t be able to get into the ballroom. I checked the schedule this morning and McCain is not listed yet. I had planned to go to DC Thursday but maybe I should depart the day before in case McCain is on early Thursday AM. I wonder what kind of reception he will get.
I was pleased to see Vice President Cheney has been added to the agenda for Thursday morning. I thought that was big. Then I read that President George W. Bush is to speak at 10:20 AM Friday! That sure is a surprise. It will be his first time there. There is no special announcement or anything on the CPAC web page. I just hope with the 1000s of people who have to get in line for the security check that anyone who wants to get in, can get in.
When Gov Bush spoke in 2000 he was not there in person. They had a video feed into the ballroom. I wonder if that is what will happen this time. I sure hope he is there in person though. Despite conservatives’ differences with Mr Bush, I still will be thrilled to see him.
When you buy a ticket, are you guaranteed a seat?
For the general sessions, no you are not guaranteed a seat if you have a general registration. For several years there have been more attendees than seats in the main ballroom so sometimes it is not possible to get in.
If you have tickets for a banquet though, that is a different story. Then there are seats at tables for everyone with a ticket.
