John McCain is an Outright Liar! (Time for some Real Straight Talk)
Canada Free Press ^ | January 30, 2008 | JB Williams

Posted on 01/30/2008 8:49:50 PM PST by PlainOleAmerican

Republicans had better rush to come to grips with the reality that all of our smart options for the 2008 election cycle are already off the table. Unlike past elections, Republicans actually had two very strong conservatives to unite behind in the 2008 primaries, Thompson and Hunter, and they failed to unite behind either of them.

The time to stand up for a true traditional conservative Republican has passed. The chance to do something smart no longer exists. Now we have one last shot and less than one week to do something that is at least half-smart.

John McCain is an Outright Liar

It is no less than Clintonesque to listen to John “amnesty” McCain call himself “the official new leader of the conservative movement in America.”

McCain is not being nominated by conservatives. He is being nominated by liberal Independents in open primaries and liberal RINOs in closed primaries. He has very little support among conservatives and he can’t win in November as a result.

But more importantly, on the issues facing our nation today, John McCain is no more conservative or Republican than Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama. In fact, after more than three decades in Washington DC, his friends are not Washington conservatives, but Washington liberals like Clinton, Obama, Kennedy, Lieberman, Graham and Martinez.

Bold Faced Lying on the Issues

Isn’t it sad that you have to go to a Canadian publication to read this?

It was in the Canada Free Press that I read about the Clintons shipped in a whole crew of interpreters to the Nevada Casinos to “help” the non-English speaking casino workers voter for Hillary.

Romney should have said “Senator McCain, you promised Straight Talk, but you haven’t been straight with the people about your liberal record.”

Then go on about McCain-Kennedy, McCain-Feingold, McCain-Lieberman, and say those would be his 3 choices for a running mate. And then finally rolled it all up with McCain’s dirty tricks.

I am sure that Rush would rather you vote for Mitt Romney than to write in Rush’s name. Mitt Romney is the only choice left to keep McCain from the nomination and to beat Hillary. Like Rush has said over and over, watch who the MSM keep pushing...the least conservative candidates. Fred and Mitt get the least attention. Now Mitt is the only one left who can beat McCAin. Mitt is also the “most” conservative of those left in the race. GO MITT

It’s over.

It's not over until the fat lady sings, i.e. a candidate has more than 50% of the votes for the first vote at the convention. Vote against these whackjobs and RINOs in the remaining primaries.

The GOP needs a brokered convention in 2008

I’m still appalled at the number of FReepers who bought the Drive-By Media spin on Thompson (”He’s lazy!” “No fire!” “Doesn’t want it enough!”) hook, line and sinker. The Dems and the media were scared to death of Fred, blatantly ignored him except to report what they saw as his negatives, and managed to get enough of the more gullible members of the “conservative base” to help out in their efforts to oust him. Just freaking incredible.

7 states have “voted” with 43 left to go + DC and Puerto Rico. The “race” has been declared over for nearly a month by the enemedia and the elitists.

There never was a race, simply smoke and mirrors and this video proves it:

"The fact is, Republican ideologues like me, clinging to my principles and my principled but failing candidate, helped John McCain become the unlikely front-runner for the Republican nomination. Thompson, Hunter, Paul, Giuliani and Huck fans all put McCain in the lead. That means we have the power to take him out of the lead. "

Wow! I just do not get why you all are all over McCain like swarms of mosquitos at a nudist colony. Can the import of those very few bad bills be so great that it makes the rest of his record null and void, and worse than Hillary? Or maybe you all just want more judges like Ginsberg and Kennedy.
Or maybe you all are just blind to the fact that Romney is far more of typical political creature, one who can morph himself over the course of even just one campaign and fool you all into thinking that even a governor from Taxicusetts can be a ‘true conservative’. Maybe we should take a look at what Mitt-care is doing to the folks in that state and get real. Conservative my rear.

“The Dems and the media were scared to death of Fred, blatantly ignored him except to report what they saw as his negatives, and managed to get enough of the more gullible members of the “conservative base” to help out in their efforts to oust him.”

Fine, you’re right, and now the MSM is doing the same kind of trip on Romney, the last ostensible conservative they have to get out of the way, either ignoring him or badmouthing him. Fred is no longer in the race, so crying over spilt milk does absolutely no good. Now is now, and we have a much more immediate problem.

Super Tuesday is 6 days, now almost 5 days, away. That gives us exactly 5 days to wise up and vote for Romney if we have any hope at all of either stopping McCain or throwing the matter into a brokered convention. You’d think that the Romney haters would realize that voting for Romney is the only way they have a snowball’s chance in h*ll of even getting to a brokered convention. It’s figure it out folks time. Either smarten up real fast or fuhgettabout it. Kiss your Party and your country goodbye.

Maybe we should take a look at what Mitt-care is doing to the folks in that state and get real. Conservative my rear.

Give the whole story, not just part of it. Mitt-care was changed by the Dem legislature in MA after Mitt left office. They added assorted bells and whistles and increased its cost, as Dems are so good at doing (they are trying to do the same thing this very minute to the stimulus packaged passed by the House and now being tinkered with by the Dems in the Senate, as an example). So Mitt’s bill became the Dems’ bill in a predominantly Dem state, after he left office. Now that’s the truth of the matter. But you seem to be just like John McCain, cherry picking your words to suit your agenda.

Yes, only so many back stabs allowed and McCain has had his limit! If he is supported, like others will follow. We have already lost all our best candidates and you have to draw a line in the sand somewhere. My choices are working backwards so far so he’ll probably win. I was Tancredo , Hunter, Thompson,Romney, Rudy, Paul, Hillary.

Show me the proof.

So far all I have seen is lies. Only valid charge so far is when he ran the first time for any office and won a governorship no one thought possible he ran as a Liberal.

Guess only what a man says means anything to you.

Personally I care about actions.

McCain in 2006 got a Conservative rating of 65. Ben Nelsons was actually better at 66. Lifetime is 85. Sounds good till you find out that puts him 47 of 49. You see passing is 94. 98% of Republican senators overall have better ratings. Now that it a far cry from mainstream Republican.

"one who can morph himself over the course of even just one campaign and fool you all into thinking that even a governor from Taxicusetts can be a ‘true conservative’. "

Mitt is not fooling anyone on FR- we all are aware that he is a very recent convert to our conservative principles, HOWEVER, he seems to have the right attitude now, as opposed to the lies and abyssmal positions of our enemy in chief, McCain. We KNOW what a snake he is. McCain will wreck the party if he gets nominated. He will NEVER get elected, all Hillary has to do to send his wild-ass temper into warp speed overdrive is to accuse him of amnesty and it's over. Believe me, it's not just those three bills, it's the latter part of his carrer that he's screwed us too many times.

“News media accounts credited McCain with being the primary Republican architect of the deal. McCain, a likely contender for the 2008 Republican presidential nomination, had announced weeks earlier that he would vote with the Democrats against adoption of the “constitutional option.” (See “Who Opposes Filibuster Reform?,” May 2005 NRL News.)

If this guy is in Canada, he is violating the laws of two nations with this article. He is violating Canada's Hate Speech laws by expressing a political opinion against a politically protected liberal group or person. He is violating America's restrictions on political speech embodied in the McCain-Feingold First Amendment repeal act.

Time to put this guy in the slammer!

Tanks buring down houses with little kids in them, Campaign cash for national security secrets to China, Bill raping women, Gun bans, Soldiers dragged through the streets of Mogadishu, free passes for terrorists, and scandal after scandal, after scandal.

My own feeling is could McCain at his worst be *THAT* bad?
