LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney plans to run a "significant" level of television ads in California and other states that vote Tuesday in essentially a national primary, aides said Thursday, signaling a willingness to aggressively try to derail Republican front-runner John McCain.

You’re dreaming. Romney will use McCain’s crap from last night to go after him big time, and expose him for the lying liberal he is.

Or maybe (just maybe) we can have a fight for the nomination at the convention.
Nominate someone who doesn’t want to squash First Amendment rights and give amnesty to illegal aliens.
That’d work, too.

His best bet would be announcing a strong conservative VP runningmate with a military background or connection.

Hardly. McCain looked bad last night. He is vulnerable. I don't think the endorsement by that RINO extraordinaire Schwarzenegger will help outside of CA.
And considering the shape the state's in, maybe not all that much inside of CA...

You are nuts, if you think McCain is going to win the general election. It will never happen without the base. I am one of the base. I give money to the party, time, and my vote. I will NOT do it for McCain! He will lose, I just hope it is before we pick our nominee.

This morning the Friends on Fox were breathlessly reporting that Mitt was running NO ads for Super Tuesday and what did that mean...hmmmmm??? Then some religious expert came on to say that McCain could pick Huck for the Christian vote. For the first time in my life, I switched over to CNN.

True. California is a closed primary, so only Republicans will vote. Schwarzenegger would be more influential among Democrats.

ha ha.
I like Ron Pauls comment about whether the president can be the CEO of the economy, which he said no. And that is what Mitt is Running on. Even though Bush’s stimulous package which includes tax rebates to illegas is an interesting take.
Nixon wasn’t a governor and he did fine, relatively speaking, so McCain has a shot. Let’s face it. The president’s job is to protect the nation, nominate judges, and do photo ops at disaster sites. Anything credited more is over-reaching.

I live in Florida, Florida was won for McNuts because of Miami and broward. Large Hispanic populations. Mel Martinez barley won Floria last time. It was Bush who pulled him over the finish line. Bush had a 5% more votes then Mel. The base of the party, Conservatives voted for Mitt, such as my family. McCain will never raise enough money, I think it will effect the whole party. We are in real trouble if he is the nominee.

My first donation to a candidate went to Mitt this morning. Let’s make headlines about how much Mitt brought in today, a day after he took McLame to the dog shed! This is our last chance I’m afraid.

Looks like Mrs. Romney has adjusted the spending limit up a notch or two. Reports (FNC) are that this will be a massive ad attack. California plus five other states that have not been named yet.
Anybody know how expensive these types of ads might be?
I bet Colorado is one of the 5. Wonder why it is being limited to five other states, if it is limited at all.

Well, and also to veto bills from Congress that he finds odiferous. You must have forgotten that one because for 6 years President Bush forgot to use it! :-)
