"This is gold, Mr. Bond. All my life I've admired its color, its brilliance, its divine heaviness. I welcome any enterprise that will increase my stock...which is considerable!"

Favorite line:

Bond - “Do you expect me to talk?”
Goldfinger - “No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die!”

I think we got the message! ;-)

Ms. Galore was played by Honor Blackman, who was also in the Avengers before Diana Rigg came along.

>> Or else a sales pitch by someone who wants you to think that the price of gold is about to jump, and they just happen to have some you could buy buy buy right now.

That’s my guess.

Gold hit a new high today! This is incredible! It’s a good thing it has next to no use whatsoever so we don’t actually have to buy today!

As bad as the gov is just printing all those federal reserve notes I doubt they are stealing our gold and dumping it to depress it below its already record 900.

Gold is very much needed in the electronics industry. At low voltages and low energy levels, you need contacts in your switches, relay tips and connectors that have low resistance and will not tarnish.

Oil is the world currency, and even better, it has some practical use beside decoration.
