I am not for McCain and will vote on Tuesday for Romney, but the author is right. Should McCain be the nominee I will hold my nose and vote for him. I would never forgive my self if I would stay home in November, like so many freepers plan and therefor throw the election to Hillary or Obama Amen! -- And, thanks for posting this much needed article.

Are you going to act like an adult and make the best of it or are you going to act like a child and hold your breath until you are blue?Time to start a Conservative Party.

They are absolutely counting on that. When I heard Bill Bennett say he'd ultimately hold his nose for McCain, I knew the fix was in.
Not this conservative. I will never vote for McCain. Never.

(You don't advance conservatism by becoming more liberal. Piss off McCain and Huck!)

Thanks for the concern, but I’m one of the troops and I’m certainly not voting for McCain. Someone who can’t even publicly control his temper doesn’t need to be CIC.
Yes Liberal crap can still be filibustered, but it wouldn’t be with McCain. With all the Dems on his side, McInsane will only have to peal off a Few RINOs to override and opposition. Can you say “prescription drug entitlement program?”

( If you don't defend Conservatism in the Primaries, you won't have it to defend in November)

I will never vote for mccain.

That’s fine and that’s your choice. I have stated all along that McCain will lose some conservative votes. However, I think the percentage who would actually vote FOR Hillary will be very small. In other words, some conservatives will only half-support Hillary by not voting for McCain, while only a small amount will fully support her with their votes.
