Expect his “100 years” statement to be used against him.

It already was used by HC in the debate last night...my thought upon hearing it was that she and the MSM will get a whole lot of mileage out of that one statement during the general election...count on it!

I agree.

Ballot access is assured via the write-in route in about a dozen states. The remainder require a petition with X number of names (not many) to COUNT that person’s votes should his name be written in. (Most folks don’t realize this.)

Other states make it fairly standard to get a candidate’s name on the ballot itself, but the route is registering a party and getting a large number of petition names.

The write-in is the easier route, but the “name on ballot” is the better route. Any break-away group should do both in each state.

***I thought Hillary was a Marine?***

Hilary is a maroon.

Using this logic, Duncan Hunter should be the nominee as his son is an active duty Marine in Iraq. Unfortunately it doesn’t work that way....

Not well. The fact that McCain has a child in the military is as much an aberration among Republicans as it is among Democrats. The political elite in this country, on both sides of the aisle, generally avoided military service. So do their children.

Yep..McCain is sure an admirable character. He came back found that his wife had been in an accident and was 40. He decided a 25 year old heiress would be better. Certainly that is alot easier than building companies and making the economy grow with your talent. Adultery/Divorce/Marry for Money...Pretty much a Kerry clone. Then, criticize Mitt for making money the old fashioned way.

You’re a brave one to actually watch Dem debates! I can barely stomach the Pubbie ones.

“Hispanics are VERY pro-military. I served with many of them.”

Using similar logic, we could argue that Californians are very pro-military. Yes, there are of course Hispanics in the military (that’s great), but Hispanics vote overwhelmingly democrats. Overall, they tend to be politically aligned with core Democratic party principles (though I saw some studies showing that majority rejects amnesty too).

Chelsea visited the troops in Iraq and complimented a Navy seal on their bravery. She asked “you guys are so brave, is there anything that scares you?”
The Navy seal replied “Yup. Three things- Osama, Obama, and yo Mama”.

We should elect McCain because his 18 year old son joined the Marines?

We should respect Jim McCain for choosing to do something that most politicians and their families would not do, server their country in the military. And regardless of your views of McCain as a politician we should respect his service, too.

All four of FDRs sons were military officers in WWII.

James won the Navy Cross and retired from the Marine Corps Reserves as a Brigadier General. Elliott was in the Army Air Corps, flew P-38s in North Africa and Europe, and witnessed the explosion that killed Joe Kennedy. Franklin and John both served in the Navy in the Pacific.

What it means is that McCain identifies with ordinary Americans as well as elitists.

As you look at our entire liberal lineup on both sides (yes, you got that right... our four front runners are all democrats), only two are for limited government control. Romney Kerry and Hillary Walmart are elitist snob nanny staters. Obama and McCain are the 'we can fix America and make everyone happy' American utopia seekers.

If I'm forced to choose from a liberal...I'm at least going to pick an American who still believes the people should control themselves. If I pick an American with an R next to his name, we can still hope for a real Republican VP.

Sen. McCain said Jimmy was well aware of the family's Navy background but had friends in the Corps, had read about the service branch and "he just wanted to join up."

Well, at least Sen. McCain can take solace in that the ID cards for Marines I believe still say..."Department of the Navy"

I couldn’t care less. This is a free country. They can do what they want. I don’t care if every Mcain in the histroy of the universe had a Medal of Honor. I still would not vote for him.

TWO sons John is at the U.S. Naval Academy, and his son James enlisted in the Marines.

It might have made a difference if the MSM/Fox cartel had allowed Duncan Hunter to speak....to get his points across....to engage in the debates.

Instead they ignored him, cut him off, and finally refused him entrance to debates.

It might have made a difference if the MSM/Fox cartel hadn't already picked their favorite and anyone else was just in the way.

It might have made a difference if there had been a level playing field, and the moderators had actually let him have as much coverage as their chosen ones, McCain, Romney and Giuliani.

He never served in the US military when he could have...

So? Last I checked 'served in the military' was not on the list of requirements.

Aw Jeez!

Not this sh*t again.

How does this play:

Romney - earned his money, married to same woman

McCain - married his money, dumped his loyal wife for young rich girl

You want to play?
