JACKSON, Miss. Experts say Mississippians need to skip the gravy, say no to the fried pickles and start taking brisk walks to fight an epidemic of obesity.
According to a new study, this Deep South state is the fattest in the nation. The Trust for America’s Health, a research group that focuses on disease prevention, says Mississippi is the first state where more than 30 percent of adults are considered obese.

Fatties, Smokers are targets number one. After that, gun owners and private property nut cases for little stays in the electro shock farms.
We are all tax cattle for the state now.
Gosh, hurt the eyes nonetheless.

Even if it gets passed, Gov. Barbour would never sign it. Right?
Here, read it as published.
Note: “Epidemics” by definition are contagious diseases spread by an infectious agent, so what they are talking about is not an obesity epidemic. Although it sure pulls the emotional heartstrings.
What’s next, the state telling others thier too skinny and force them to eat?
Oh geeze not this again. This bill will NOT pass, and the sponsors know it. Mississippi has some of the most lenient smoking, gun, insurance, helmet, etc laws in the nation.
So when are they gonna stop giving food stamps to fat people?
