But insurance companies will love it. They can cut off fat patients from getting insurance payments. Life insurance payments can be denied if a person dies of some fat-related ailment whether fat really is the culprit or not. I’m sure some scientific evidence can be manufactured to suit any ole lawyer’s case. Kind of like homeowners whose houses blow away during a hurricane can’t make a claim to their insurance because during the hurricane, water blew ashore and replaced the spot where the houses used to be. Which came first? The wind or the sea??????????

They stop usually by age 35 or so... when our large brethren simply keel over from chest explosion. These obese people live like they want to live, die early, decrease the surface population and decrease medical costs to the state. I see no problem. I say "light 'em up"... if you got 'em. I LOVE FREEDOM!

2012 maybe... Haley vowed to serve his full term before even considering another office. He is a man of his word 100%.

should we also stop serving food to people of a certain skin color?

I heard the other day that African-Americans do not, as a rule, tip the wait staff. Is that true? Where did that enter their culture?

Well, most of the restaurants will go out of business in Mississippi!

Or better yet there will be food speak-easys.

This is just more of the Nanny Government trying to rule like dictators. Jeeez Loueez!

I’d like to see La. try to get a bill like that passed. The phrase, ‘raging cajun’ would have a new meaning.

I have to agree with you. After watching episodes on TV of fat people needing to be lifted by cranes to get off the bed, I have changed my attitude on these types. They should have the same fate as lame horses and turned into glue.

"There will be food speak-easys".

LOL!

I know a dark secluded place
Where no one ever knows your face
A fried food dinner, a custard glace
It's called Fat Folks Hideaway

Just knock three times and whisper low
That you and I were sent by Joe
Then scarf a tart and you will know
You're in Fat Folks Hideway......

Ole!

The bill is unconstitutional - it amounts to a restraint of freedom of occupation and an interference with personal choice. If I want to eat, I want to eat. The government best keep its fugly nose out of my business.

Doesn’t the Mississippi legislature have anything better to do? If not, they need to go home for a while, so they won’t do any damage.
