Valerie Plame Wilson says she's been through hell, and is still recovering from being outed as a spy. But she will recover -- of that she's certain.

By Kim Ode, Star Tribune (kimode@startribune.com)

Mata Hari, James Bond, Boris and Natasha -- the popular image of spies always seems to embrace glamour, lots of "dah-links" and sex. So to blond and vivacious Valerie Plame Wilson, who for an awful period was, of all things, the world's most famous spy.

Could not believe it. The far left wing rag, the Minneapolis Star Tribune, running an article on Valery Plame, whose 15 minutes is way over.

kimode@startribune.com

If anybody has a good solid epistle on these two clowns, the wilson, be sure to send it to this so called "journalist" at the left wing Star Tribune.

She was “outed” when Novak called her bosses and asked if she was CIA. They confirmed it.

If your bosses give you up over the phone to someone who would just like to know, you aren’t covert.

Why is it, that, the same people who hyperventilated about the alleged outing of Valerie Plame as a CIA operative, were in favor of the New York Times publishing the secrets of the tracing of suspected terrorist phone calls and communications? On the one hand they hyperventilate about revealing someone’s secret identity, but on the other hand, they are in favor of revealing the secrets involved in tracking down terrorist communications. How can this be?

***She still speaks in the present tense about her job with the CIA, although she resigned from the agency in January 2006 after serving for — oh, that’s another can of worms. She left after her identity as a covert agent was leaked by a source in the Bush administration to newspaper columnist Robert Novak.***

She left almost 3 years after the “leak”.

She ceased to be used as a covert agent by the CIA many years pre-Novak, after being presumed to have been compromised by Aldrich Ames and recalled from her last foreign post for that reason.

She’s a poster child for much more rigorous psych screening of prospective covert CIA agents. How this attention-craving egomaniac ever got into the non-official cover category is beyond me. She’s a walking inventory of psychological DISqualifications for such a position.

It’s not Valerie that got outed that was the problem.

It’s that Joe Wilson had been outed because he was spying on himself.

He was supposed to spy while in Niger and find out if The President of Niger was selling yellowcake ore to Saddam.

All expenses paid, no strings attached, no nondisclosure documents to sign, no oath to secrecy.

Joe was going to Niger, for personal business reasons.
He has a company that specializes in brokering sales of uranium ore for the President of Niger.

But, it wasn’t just once. It was twice.
Each time the CIA wanted to do this ‘spying’, Valerie made sure that Joe got the assignment.

Once during the Clinton admin, the second during the Bush admin.

The first time he was protecting Clinton, and Clinton’s ‘friends’ who were facilitating the sale (Notice a friend of the Clintons who got SUDDENLY rich is in the news.... UrAsia ).

The second time he was protecting himself, and some of his
‘investors’.

All the democrat bigwigs were getting rich off the ‘payoffs’ from these sales, (known as campaign contributions).

Wilson/Plame, agents of the CIA, Democratic Politicians at many levels, and some Republican ones as well, all were making profits everytime Saddam purchased the raw material to make nuclear weapons.

The very nuclear weapons those same people claim he didn’t have, and wasn’t making.

That reason it is known as the Valerie Plame Scandal is that
Valerie is ‘photogenic’, and would distract the minds of the sheeple away from the real issue.

It worked very, very well.

That’s not true. She definitely was a “spy”, and the most covert kind at that — she had worked under “non-official cover” until the Aldrich Ames affair was uncovered, and she (along with scores of other important CIA agents) was presumed to have had her cover compromised by Ames, and was accordingly recalled from the last foreign post where she served in a covert capacity. Non-official cover is a much bigger deal than official cover covert status, the latter being where the agent is outwardly employed by the State Department, Commerce Department, or other US Government agency. Needless to say, official cover carries a built-in level of suspicion among people who might be concerned about whether or not someone is a CIA agent, so for the most sensitive assignments, non-official cover agents are used. God only knows how this woman qualified for such status. My best guess — made in all seriousness, but still just a guess — is that she was willing to engage in sexual relations with potential sources of information.

Joe Wilson was brokering sales of ore for the President of Niger.

It became illegal to do that.

The US Govt started ‘observations’ to see if Saddam was buying ore for making nuclear weapons.

Joe Wilson (and a long list of Democrats) were making tons of money off these sales, so

Gorelick has already put a wall between the FBI and CIA, and then Valerie is put into the CIA as a controllable plant.

Her and Joe meet and fall ‘instantly’ in love.

Now he has control of the CIA through his wife.

Any investigations by the CIA into Niger’s deals are controlled by Joe Wilson.

And that’s the name of that tune.

Joe was going to Niger, for personal business reasons. He has a company that specializes in brokering sales of uranium ore for the President of Niger.

I have always suspected that, although it is difficult to prove from open sources. (Feel free to post any links you may have...) I was aware that he is partners (with a Saudi) in a company that specializes in West African mining. Its not a big stretch to assume that West African mining means uranium, what else would it be? Gold, supposedly, but I always suspected uranium.

But as to your larger point (and my larger point) I always ask people, where did Libya's yellowcake come from? Since there is supposedly no contraband market in uranium? No one has an answer, because no one seems to have thought about it. Certainly reporters seem to be startingly incurious about the subject, no one seems ever to have asked.

What I gather is that the half we know about came from Niger, and the half we don't know about came from... Niger.
