Those who are successes learn from their mistakes and move on to improve the process. One failure means a step closer to success.

You'd think a guy as supposedly smart as Romney would have known going in that socialism is ALWAYS a failure, no matter how you tweak it.

His health care plan was fine as devised and ruined by his successors who tacked on extra perks.
Right. You just keep believing that.
As someone else said above, he'd have to have been pretty stupid to set up such a system and not know the Democrats would "ruin" it. If you ask me, he was on board with them from day one.

I think its a pretty lame remark to anticipate you can in any way control the actions of an independent successor.

You may have had a case if this was 10 years down the road. But Romney left office less than 2 years ago and RomneyCare is ALREADY failing.

See: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1965501/posts
THAT together with McCain’s double dealing in the Huckabee West Va caper indicates:
a) Huckabee is a spineless invertebrate for not having the guts and manhood to be honest about his plans; and
b) Back-stabbing, conspiratorial, pro-Democrat McCain is unfit for the office he is seeking.
And it ain’t over til its over and it ain’t over till November.
If the Repubs are stupid enough to nominate a nasty mendacious old man for President, they will reap the consequences then.

I was for Hunter early on because I wanted someone I could happily work for, donate to, support, and vote for. I worried that we were going to end up in exactly the situation we have here.
At this point, we disagree only on which of the remaining candidates is the bigger loser. That's all.

Ok...missed this thread...WOW...what a boondoggle!! We sure dodged a bullet with Mitt. Imagine if he could have spread this nationally? The economy would collapse.
