Vanity: Super Tuesday Wrapup And Exclusive Analysis
2/6/08 | Self

Posted on 02/06/2008 5:19:21 AM PST by Nextrush

This post needs to be made regarding Super Tuesday.

My observations include the fact the "underground" Trust Huckabee operation did its job well dividing conservative votes and enabling McCain to win Missouri.

This group not officially associated with Huckabee is paving the way for McCain.

It looks National Right To Life used its state affiliates endorsements of Huckabee to assist in the Establishment plan to divide conservatives and help McCain win.

Romney can still fight back but he'll have to get into the Saturday events in Washington and Kansas where I think he can do well.

And he'll have to win next Tuesday in Virginia to keep his campaign going.

There's Wisconsin on the 19th. I see hope for Romney there.

Then March 4th and the big ones, Ohio and Texas. Romney won Michigan, why not Ohio. Hit Texas hard with amnesty and pin it on McCain's butt.

I'm ready for a fight and not intimidated by the media and insiders.

Here's analysis you've should have seen last night but never will from MSNB OBAMA, CLINTON NEWS NETWORK AND THE MCCAIN NEWS CHANNEL.

1. JOHN MCCAIN IS THE CANDIDATE OF THE LIBERAL REPUBLICAN STATES OF THE NORTHEAST WHERE'S HE MAINLY WON. EVEN FLORIDA AND SOUTH CAROLINA CAN BE ATTRIBUTED TO RETIRED NORTHEASTERN REPUBLICANS WHO LIVE IN THOSE STATES.

2. IN THE SOUTH, MIDWEST AND MOUNTAIN STATES TWO-THIRDS OF REPUBLICANS VOTED AGAINST MCCAIN.

3. IN UTAH 94 PERCENT OF REPUBLICANS VOTED AGAINST MCCAIN.

4. IN ALASKA 83 PERCENT OF REPUBLICANS VOTED AGAINST MCCAIN.

5. IN COLORADO 80 PERCENT OF REPUBLICANS VOTED AGAINST MCCAIN.

6. IN ARKANSAS 80 PERCENT OF REPUBLICANS VOTED AGAINST MCCAIN.

How can McCain be anything other than an albatross to the Republican Party and a sure loser in September.

Facts the MSM will never tell you.

Maybe you would like to add some of your own.

I wonder whether John McCain will end up being a Viagra spokesman or a Cialis spokesman?

Campaign finance reform was all about getting McCain and Clinton elected.... and everybody showed up voted yesterday just like these two knew they would.... Huckabee should be beaming with pride.

If Hillary had won last night using GOP delegate rules, Obama would have conceded last night. If the GOP used RAT rules, Huckabee would be very close.

Mitt should do well in Kansas. Brownback dropped out of the race in his home state when Romney out organized him there.

Virginia has a huge military population. Much as I don’t like it, Sen. McCain has a good chance of carrying the Commonwealth in a 3 way race.

I can see how you're the next Rush Limbaugh, because, like him, you're not very sharp. You do realize that Mitt Romney has less than half of the delegates that McCain has, and, yet, it's McCain who is an albatross to the GOP and a sure loser in September (what happens in September, by the way? The Convention on 9/1? McCain isn't going to lose that.)?

McCain, “You have nowhere else to go.”

Hucakabee did his job. Hucksters has no money. It is clear he is going nowhere but he is going to continue to stop someone who (peacefully) has a different religion from him.

It is funny that even with the huge slap in the face given to Hillary with the endorsement of Obama from the Kennedy’s, Obama looses the Kennedy state of Massachusetts, and looses California even after polls was showing he had a 13 point lead there. The papers may be saying the Democrats split the wins, but in reality it was a very bad day for Obama.

My analysis FWIW. (not much)

1. Hannity, Rush, Levin, Ingrahem etal, should have gotten on Mitts bandwagon much earlier. Before SC and Florida at least.

2. Mitt should have spent more time in CA pushing his illegal immigration message.

3. Mitt better get his ass to Texas and do just that.

4. If Mitt loses, it’s open borders for ever and 12-20 million new democrats will be granted amnesty.

5. The GOP is no more.

6. The birth of a new Conservative Party.

It’s untrue. Many primaries were closed to Republicans only. McCain has a strong popular support. In Alaska and Montana there were only few hundreds of people to vote. In Florida, California, Missouri etc there were thousands of voters.

McCain isn't conservative, therefore he is an albatross to the GOP, and even if he does win the nomination, he will not withstand either Clinton or OsamaObama in the debates or the election, he is a loser and will lose.

It’s not as simple as FOR or AGAINST In Arkansas 80% didn’t vote against McCain, they voted for THEIR man Huckabee.
Who I believe by the way is in it, just like Perot was to take votes away the from front-runner, fracture the conservatives and give Clinton the win.
I don’t like McCain, but come November we MUST cast our vote for the nominee who ever he is. If we vote otherwise we WILL have Hillary, along with her choices for the Supreme Court slots. We face major issues ahead, the war, Iran’s nukes, China, Economic issues to name a few. It’s not just about the Presidency. I believe we need to think strategy here, and hold our noses at the voting booth.

Oh youre so full of crap...

“My observations include the fact the “underground” Trust Huckabee operation did its job well dividing conservative votes and enabling McCain to win Missouri.”

If Huckabee was really only aiming at playing the spoiler in Missouri he would not have been within 10K votes of winning the dang state. One can make the case that it was Willard who kept huck from winning Missouri..

“It looks National Right To Life used its state affiliates endorsements of Huckabee to assist in the Establishment plan to divide conservatives and help McCain win.”

Maybe they just dont think mitts 11th hour conversion to the pro life cause is authentic. Huck is the only guy left with real creds on Abortion (McCain, outside of stem cells, is not all that bad) So who should the pro life people have endorsed?

“Then March 4th and the big ones, Ohio and Texas. Romney won Michigan, why not Ohio.”

Because his father was not a popular governor of Ohio..

“1. JOHN MCCAIN IS THE CANDIDATE OF THE LIBERAL REPUBLICAN STATES OF THE NORTHEAST WHERE’S HE MAINLY WON. EVEN FLORIDA AND SOUTH CAROLINA CAN BE ATTRIBUTED TO RETIRED NORTHEASTERN REPUBLICANS WHO LIVE IN THOSE STATES.”

Ahem who won Mass the most liberal state outside of Cali? Even the republicans in Mass are really Democrats..

“2. IN THE SOUTH, MIDWEST AND MOUNTAIN STATES TWO-THIRDS OF REPUBLICANS VOTED AGAINST MCCAIN.”

And een more folks voted against willard

“IN UTAH 94 PERCENT OF REPUBLICANS VOTED AGAINST MCCAIN.”

Shocker that a Mormon Bishop won Utah.....

IT’s WRITE-IN for 2008! Look, we’re gonna lose here, so let’s pull together and pick our own guy, someone Rush, Sean, Laura, Anne, and all the talking radio hosts would and could support. Don’t laugh at this, it needs a look and some strong thought and a BIG name that would get intant recognition on the ticket. How about Michael Reagan?...

“How can McCain be anything other than an albatross to the Republican Party and a sure loser in September. “

well he is the only one that is either a little ahead or a little behind in head to head matchups with either Dem. Romney and Huck have double digit deficits to these guys. now i am not saying trust polls since we all know that they are flawed but when you ask how can people perceive him as the strongest this is part of the reason. also name recognition, military creds which give him respect, and at least a record to run on. now i did not vote for him in the primary but if he is the nominee i will vote for him
his ACU rating is 82 lifetime and 65 2006
HIll is 9 and 12
Bama 8 and 8

I agree with your points. I think it’s time to start a new party. Conservatives should not go to the gop convention, we should put up our own candidate and do to McCain what he and Huck did to romeny yesterday. The question who would lead us at this point.

I tell you how sick I am - my wife a life-long GOP voter has been captivated by his charisma. She said she may consider voting for Obama. I got work to do between now and November. Another reason I’m hoping Hillary is the Dem nominee, the wife Hates Hillary
