Are you going to put the entire set of 1975 radio addresses up there?

No, not the entire set. Maybe I’ll post a few more. No promises though. ;-)

Thank you, if only I could give Ronnie a big hug. I just emailed this to Teen M. Why? Because we adopted her and she is very much wanted and loved. She has grown into a very lovely young lady who is tops in her class, State in UIL, National Honor Society, and is planing a career in the medical field.

If you want the full set, you can purchase them from Amazon:

Reagan In His Own Voice

It comes on 5 CDs. Highly recommended. I have the set, and it's great.

Indeed. I've only gone through two of them and look forward to listening to the rest. So much stuff on there is timeless, even if some of the players change.

That made me cry.

We have two children, adored, loved and adopted.

Thank you for posting that.

Do we miss that guy or what?

It was Mr President Reagan who took my working class, blue collar democrat family by the hand and taught us there was no crime in voting outside your party. My mom and dad were still concerned that he would take away their SS and Medicare but couldn’t stomach voting for a party that went from FDR, Truman American values to San Fransisco values. So we pulled the lever for RR. Now, we, like most Americans, don’t feel any party addresses the concerns of middle America. Nothing points this out more than the shamnesty bill last summer

The "cowboy hat" picture is still one of the best.

On another topic, I was watching "The Professionals" recently. Lee Marvin was another guy that had good pipes and was generally respected...

There were plenty - Lee Borgnine, Bronson, Robert Webber, Cassavetes, even George Kennedy - these were all strong MEN with a set - that weren't going to take a bunch of crap off anyone in general. At least that's how they were portrayed and a good chunk of them spent some amount of time in the military in WWII.

They were generally liked, respected, and well spoken. Now we have what we have. Not cut of the same material, unfortunately.

IMO, of course.
