He's a dangerous mental case being forced on us by the media...under the guise of a "war hero"...who are in bed with Soros, who is hell bent on destroying this country.

I don't think we will have to worry about McNutt destroying the country, the MSM will see to it that either Sheik Obama or HillBill takes care of that job quite handily.

The liberal MSM is quite happy to praise McNutt as long as he's knocking all conservative candidates out of the race, but just wait until he’s safely nominated and they will turn on him like a pack of hungry wolves when the campaign for the general election begins. The MSM has done the same thing in other recent elections, and the tactic is so blatantly obvious that you would think people would see it and be repulsed by the hypocrisy, but apparently not.

I should have read farther than the Seattle paper’s article before posting #102. I said pretty much the same thing you had already said, and you said it more concisely in fewer words than I did.

I believe he will make winning the war his first priority and may consider Fred Thompson as his running mate.

And go back on his bargain with Huckleberry?? Not likely IMHO. I know that Fred is his old Senate pal and all that, but this is political war at the highest level and old friends have to get out of the way if choosing them would impede the nominee's campaign.

I don't believe that choosing a moderate VP like Huckleberry over a more conservative ally like Fred would represent a move by McNutt toward a somewhat less "moderate" ticket for the November election. But he probably does since Huckleberry will bring a passel of conservative evangelical voters along with him and Fred doesn't have much of anything to bring except the disappointing result of his lethargic campaign.

What's enlighted? You sound neither enlightened or principled.

I, my FRiend, am both....and you do not understand the battle before us.

But, by all means, go ahead and stand on your "principles" and your self rightiousness and ignore the universal truth that politics is a blood sport.

We go to war with the Army we've got...and with that Army we join together and plan a way to win.

If you can't do this....I wish you Godspeed even though I know you will whine and stomp your feet when you're forced to live under Clinton/Obama.

I thought I heard recently that McCain said that he couldn’t win without conservatives. If so, why are you denigrating conservatives? This is a conservative site, not a GOP organ.

I am a Conservative, and would never "denigrate" these principles.

I don't want the Conservative voice silenced. And, this is what will happen if and when Washington, DC is solidly Democrat.

McCain was not my first choice. But, by delegates earned, he is the Republican nominee.

So, our choice is clear: Be sent to the political wilderness through eight years of Clinton/Obama....or have a viable voice at the table during a McCain presidency.

What would you prefer?

People like you are why Rome fell...

This is total, hysterical nonsense.

Politics is war...and we fight it with the Army we have.

The only way we become Rome is if you make it personal and throw a tantrum.

majority of you didnt support romney anyways. rush and others got ticked off when mccain bounced back. Because of cfr, they dont like that bill for one specific reason. their mikes are shut off day of election.....

Oh trollish one, what is it you don't like about the 1st Amendment?

Could it be you're a DUer that simply hates Rush and talk radio and you relish the thought of him going off the air. After all, you whiners couldn't make it with Air America as a free enterprise. Looking to the government to suppress free speech seems to be your goal.

Is it really? When you conceed defeat at your closest moment of victory? When the general populace would rather "settle" for bread and circus'... what would you call it?

Pragmatisms don't impress me. Principles do.

You are an example of the first and apparently lack the latter...

Seems to me that anyway you slice it or dice it, the MSM wins in 2008.

We may be bidding Rush, Hannity, Beck, Levin and Laura a fond adieu come 2009 when McCain or Hillary show their vindictive venom as CIC bringing back the Fairness Act!

24 hours and waiting...

All you have come up with is that he is against Earmarks.

I asked you to show me ONE bill that he sponsored that proposed cutting the size of government. Being against Earmarks is hardly being for reducing the size of current government programs.

Need more time?

How much was McCamnesty’s Global warming B.S. going to cost? Something like 1.2 Trillion? I am not going to vote for a open border liberal. Even if he has an R in front of his name. The pork barrel deficits are a sign of conservatives? The problem is the RINOs. Or maybe the republicans will be the new democrats, and the democrats will be socialists. Maybe soon the “get in line” conservatives will be the RINOs. As the Republicans move left. It will be especially funny if the Huckster is the VP candidate.

>>>>The EPA Estimates Sen. McCain’s Plan Would Reduce United States GDP By As Much As $5.2 Trillion. “The effect on the economy of the McCain tax would be similar to any other broad-based tax. In the EPA’s own words: ‘The present value of the cumulative reduction in real GDP for the 2012-2030 period ranges from $660 billion to $2.1 trillion... the cumulative reduction in the present value of real GDP for the 2012-2050 period ranges from about $1.6 trillion to $5.2 trillion.’” (Roy Cordato, “McCain’s Costly Tax On Energy,” National Review, www.nationalreview.com, Posted 1/10/08) <<<<<<<

Whoa that sounds pretty conservative right?
