PING to something interesting

COEUR d'ALENE - Weather watchers say a snowfall record has been broken in Coeur d'Alene.
Climatologist Cliff Harris says that as of 3 p.m. Tuesday, 127 inches of snow had fallen in the northern Idaho city this season. That's nearly three inches more than the old record of just over 124 inches, set in the winter of 1915-1916.
Harris predicts another 10 or 15 inches of snow could fall before spring comes. He says everyone is going to remember this winter for years to come.
The city's normal snowfall is about 67 inches a year.
There's been so muc snow that members of the Idaho National Guard have been sent there to help clear the snow.

There's a popular fishing show here in the Florida Keys that drifts into global warming, especially when guests from NOAA or the Marine Sanctuary appear. The host, Cal Sutphin, is a very good guy, tries to be fair, but can't find man made global warming opponent able to call into his program. I've sent him things, even sat in on one on-site broadcast, but I'm NOT the man to rattle this stuff off the top of my head.
If someone can think and speak on their feet about this and may want to have a little fun on the air, contact me any time. Cal's show's funny, and I'm sure he'd like to hear from you. (He just doesn't not have the background or time to investigate Global warming himself.)
Bump for a later read.
