“We need to figure out better ways to work around these socialists.”

We need true Conservatives with endless supplies of cash. The left has Soros, Murdock, and people like Evjue.

I guess the Conservatives out there are all too busy earning a living and creating jobs and wealth for others to be bothered. ;)

I start my day with reading Drudge Report, Google news and my two local newspapers online, if I had wireless and a PDA thingie I would read it at work, I only buy newspapers nowadays when I need to mask off painting equipment.

Just going through the thread when I found out you are “smug!”

My first early morning chuckle of the day.

BTW, I have a nephew who attends the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Just to get on my nerves, he e-mails me Ron Paul updates. His parents, however, are firmly committed to Barry Hussein.

I think they put something in the beer at the Great Dane. I know they all go there for lunch when the parents come into town to visit the kid, and when they come back to Illinois, they’re nuttier than ever. FIPS.

Tampering with beer should be a felony!

We have one Ron Paul yard sign on our long, winding country road. It’s in the yard of our local hermit. ;)

I live around Holmen (ten miles north of La Crosse), so I don't know much of what goes on around Madison. Except for what I occasionally read in the Wisconsin State Journal. I leave it to you to inform the rest of us about what goes on in Mad City on a regular basis. A nice place to visit in the summer. Maybe a nice place to live.

But a visit to a Borders bookstore on University Avenue (as well as a few visits to used bookstores on State Street) have convinced me that conservatives are definitely in the minority and not welcome section. There was so much anti-Bush literature in the Borders store shortly before the last election, I wondered why Borders didn't just put up a huge neon sign on the top of their store saying GET ALL YOUR HATE-BUSH LITERATURE HERE!!!
