That is pretty much the way of politics in the western world nowadays. We were headed that way ourselves, before the Reagan Revolution and the Contract With America delayed it, but delay may have been all it was.
It's certainly ironic how we defended Western Europe against communism, only to see that region become more socialist, as we are also doing. The irony becomes greater when one considers that the former East Bloc has gone to more conservative politics, flat taxes etc.
What are the politics like in Hungary? I know the women are beautiful, so please tell me they have sane government. And then, let’s head out! ;-)
