My predecessors courageous decisions to support surge... Iraqis surged too... “awakening” movement of Iraqis themselves helped... more than 80000 civilians helping too... other experts (IED, etc) taking down the opposition... pursuing AlQ out of neighborhoods, etc.

Now going up into Mosul and defeating them there, too.

Is it too much if I hope that he announces his run for Presidency?

This is a war in many respects of ideas. Even being fought in cyberspace by alQ... much done on internet... sharing of tactics and procedures... a very new war in many ways. Extraordinary level of extremism is being practiced at a level not really seen before.

I really don’t think Hannity would be interested.

Must hold their turning against AlQ... against the intimidation of alQ-Iraq - torturing and abusing populace... their turning against AlQ has been of enormous importance. Banged away at cities such as Ramadi over for years because we weren’t able to clear and hold it... now we’re holding it. -— Break...

For 2012? It would be too much to ask for him now, especially when he still has a job to finish in Iraq.

I am pretty sure that Hannity has already suggested that he will be a great presidential candidate some day. I agree.

A proven visionary and leader with super-smarts...

Petreaus/Pace 2012 with Press Secretary General Boykin, Secretary of State General Mattis, Secretary of Defense John Bolton (only civilians can be SecDef). Some would call it a Junta, I would call it the America Salvation Council. Ha! Too good to be true.

How do you know he’s not a Pro-Choice, Pro-Gay Marriage, Pro- Open Borders, Pro-federal funding of stem cell research, etc, etc, etc.

We don’t know where he stands on anything. except fighting the war in Iraq. (Not Nat’l Defense.)

For that case we have General Pace (devout Catholic and outspoken social conservative). He has the credentials.

Schwarzkoff didn’t want it, neither did Tommy Franks, why should Petraus, so now they just sit idly by as the country goes to the dogs.

Pace said, and said, and said, and said, (inhale) he was not, N-O-T interested.

His interests are with MCLEF (Marine Corps Law Enforcement Association) and helping servicemen and women. That’s where the fire in his belly is.

For the love of God. Leave the man alone.

“so now they just sit idly by as the country goes to the dogs.”

Words cannot express what a jackass you are for saying that.

(”Be still and know that I am God”. HA! Be still and know that God is saying in Yiddish, “You are a schmuck.”)

Hannity is an intellectual lightweight and a major suck-up.

A preening schmoo.

But the individual said, “Is it too much if I hope that he announces his run for Presidency?”

Hope that he announces. That tells me he already know.

Actually, he knows squat, as do all of us.

You have something more substantial to say than merely call someone names, that doesn't take much intellect. I stand by my words, this country would've been much better off with those two in charge yet they choose to sit comfortably somewhere while this country goes to the dogs, (McLame, Obama,Clinton)

Maybe you need to be still and learn something.

Are you able to tell me what Petraeus answered to Hannity’s question about “consequences of total withdrawal?”

Normally I try avoid wrestling wih the pig, lest I get dirty and the pig enjoys it, but sometimes “I jist cain’t hep myself!”

Don’t try to take a moral high ground after saying that they, “just sit idly by as the country goes to the dogs.” It doesn’t sit well coming from imbeciles.

Franks is 63 and spent, all told 38 years in the Army. He has the Purple Heart (That means wounded in action for those from Idaho), and the Bronze Star w/ “V”.

Pace is 63 and spent 44 years in the Marine Corps (includes 4 Naval Academy.) He also has the Bronze Star w/ “V” among many many others.

Finally.....
Schwartzkopf

Schwartzkopf is 73 and spent 36 years in the Army (40 years if you count West Point) has 2 Purple Hearts ( Remember what that’s for?), and received 3 Bronze Stars with “V” (that means for action in COMBAT) 3 Silver Stars (for bravery), and DIstinguished FLying Cross. Oh yea, he’s also a cancer survivor.

That’s 110 years of military service. A little under half the total age of the United States.

Let’s take a poll to see if others think you fit your moniker?

You seem to have a little problem with name-calling, doesn't sit well with whatever point you're trying to make, I'm well aware of the resume of all the men you mentioned, AND because of their high profile and having watched them in action in public, I couldn't help but wonder how much their leadership skills could benefit the country as President.

Afterall why risk your life and fight wars for your country abroad when the enemy is also within taking the country down. Service to the country doesn't stop when you come home, the battle is on-going, what good is it to have all the medals in the world when you no longer have a country left to appreciate it? "To whom much is given, much is expected".
