The man is nothing but class.
No one at any level in any sport has more class than Mr. Dungy.

A very good man and a class act. The NFL needs more like him.
That said, it will be a happy day when he retires in my household. Maybe then my beloved Jaguars will have a shot at winning the AFC South!

There was much speculation in the Tampa Bay area papers because he’s enrolled his son in a Tampa high school this year, so folks thought he might be retiring, but not this year.
Belichick’s performance after the Super Bowl just reminded me of what a class act Dungy was. I read an article about the Charger/Colts playoff game that said Dungy stayed on the field for a long time afterward...and what was he doing...congratulating all the Charger players.
The man not only talks the talk, he walks the walk.

I thought Tom Landry would forever be the classest act in the NFL. I was wrong.
I knew Dominique Rhoades wouldn't be coming back to the Colts this past season. He received a DUI in the off-season. That's it, a DUI. No illegal dog-fighting business, no murdering of pregnant girlfriends, just a DUI.
And if Peyton Manning received a DUI, I'm confident he'd be gone, too. If you play for Tony Dungy, you exhibit excellent character on
and off the field, or you don't play for Tony Dungy.
I'm sure Tony Dungy would not trade a Lombardi trophy for being called a "cheater" for the rest of NFL history.

Thanks for posting this. Tony Dungy reminds me most of my own dad, whom I miss so much. I’m glad he’ll coach for at least one more year.
And you know...maybe we can have that Manning v. Manning Super Bowl, how cool would that be?
