Come to think of it, he might have thought they were Michigan National Guard on an invasion attempt. After all, Michigan and Ohio forces
did face off over Toledo. in 1835. Ohio got Toledo, and Michigan got statehood and the UP.
Naww....if we were really worried about a Michigan invasion we'd simply give Jim Tressel command of the Ohio National Guard. We'd let them keep Detroit. >:)
